also yeah translator chick is cute No they didn't. That was one reason why Strelok was unable to get his Visa in time... He couldn't secure the funds fast enough Um.. yeah they all got a $500 dollar stipend, plus the opportunity to play for very good money. The upside of single elimination is that a weaker player COULD have knocked out a better player and if you did that 2 rounds in a row thats $5000, vs. Double Elimination where you'd have to win much more. There are 2 sides to everything. Also, Strelok knew the deal when he signed up... his own fault if he couldn't have afforded to make it work. But I never heard that the money part was the problem for him though, I think you just made that up.
I've never heard the money part either. As I recall, Strelok didn't mention anything about being unable to get funds in his explanation post.

That's not what irony is at all. No...that is the exact definition of 'ironic'. I love that Futurama episode where Bender goes around yelling at everyone "That's not ironic, it's just a coincidence!" But I see that Websters has officially changed the definition or ironic to include 'unexpected, coincidences'. Bah, dictionaries catering to casuals =p. You're pretty dense if you cannot see the irony in a player who is known for his balance whine becoming worse as game balance has improved.

It's improved a lot, the only thing bad is the downtime. I saw a post about NHL fans, it's same for pro wrestling fans on forums. They all watch the product every week and come on the forums to bitch. Why watch the product every week then? Some people like to be negative and if they see the slightest failure they get off on it. Reasonable poeple will keep a level head and not freak out when something isn't going perfect. People on the internet sometimes don't seem reasonable or like human beings and it's a shame.
Well if you must know, I do quite enjoy the actual games (even though they have been blowouts they were still fun for me), just not the time in between and the tech issues. It's not like I'm sitting through this for 6 hours pissed off about every aspect of the tournament - although admittedly I don't speak for everyone.
Not to mention there's still the hope that the upcoming games will be even better and that the problems with downtime and such will be solved (no matter how unlikely it seems to get), and I for one wouldn't want to miss that.

You both need to calm down, take a nice shower, fap if necessary, and then come back and post like normal people.

It makes me so sad to see people complaining about the koreans taking over NASL, I mean why shouldn't they be able to compete in the NASL? everybody wants to see the best play against the best, if the foreign pro gamers can't handle it, maybe they should move to korea and start practicing there like Huk has done.
You can't call yourself a top pro gamer if your not living in korea and in a pro gaming house. The foreign pro gamers are casual gamers..
