Why does this argument keep popping up anyway? HuK lives in Korea, trains in Korea and competes in Korea. This is what is relevant to Starcraft - and nothing else. What color his skin is, where he was born, what are his roots... all of that is just trivia.

So essentially his online playstyle and persona is of a Korean, even though he may not be. Select is the opposite. His online playstyle and persona is that of a North American, even though he may not be. Why don't people get it rofl. I personally consider Huk still a NA player although he is currently doing "Korean training." Huk at least trained in NA, Select has never trained in Korea (at least to my knowledge) so I consider him a NA player (or a "foreigner" as everyone calls it)

If Huk trains in Korea, does that make him Korean? You tell me. This is the most ridiculous debate since the .999 = 1 arguments on the old B.net forums.

use some logic people. i think most people agree koreans are better than foreigners due to their practice environments and not say .. genetics. by this logic, select who lives in the US should perform much like his other north american counterparts . yes select IS korean like how HUK is a foreigner but when select wins or loses, it cannot be credited to him being korean..

Huk is a Canadian on the KR server.
