um.. so you consider HuK Korean?

When talking about being a SC2 player, I'd say he's more Korean than SelecT since the whole reason Koreans are better is because of their work eithic and practicing with each other in-house, which is exactly what Huk is doing, and not SelecT.

feedback:
- skip intros, shorter breaks
- do double elimination plzzzz, more games, more entertainment (players travel around the world to play one game? at least 8 of them.. seriously...who is responsible for that?)
- get a better organization and implementation (sound, earthquakecam, interviewers?)

ahh I'm too tired to list all the other stuff that did not work.. its getting too late..

fuckin hate this too. really feel bad for the players who traveled just to play 1 game.

So tired of reading this shit. You play as a goddamned competitor, you play to win, if you lose, you go home. No one cries to Wimbledon or US Open when X player loses first round to Federer. Fly 11 hours to bo5.

Hey, you want to play more than 1 game after flying 11 hours? GET BETTER.
I now have autographs of both BoxeR and NaDa. I can die happy. Lim Yo Hwan and Lee Yun Yeol FIGHTING forever!

Yes and then the other 99% of the world will figure out she is 13.

Thank you for tuning into the NORTH AMERICAN star league.

That's right, because "north american" automatically implies long delays, fucking 1 hour breaks and low amount of content per unit of time (=waste of my time).

It's a LAN event for the finals, not an exclusively online one like TSL. Their job isn't to please you the online viewer with content, it's to please the people attending with things to do :p.

Again, it's more like MLG than TSL.

are some of you guys seriously saying select is korean? lmao..
use some logic people.
i think most people agree koreans are better than foreigners due to their practice environments and not say .. genetics. by this logic, select who lives in the US should perform much like his other north american counterparts .
yes select IS korean like how HUK is a foreigner but when select wins or loses, it cannot be credited to him being korean..

His race is korean...

"Korean" is not a race.

Good god what in the world are they teaching to you kids in school nowadays??

this nasl event so far has actually been horrid. im not whining, im still gonna watch it but this is just my opinion

-bad production/quality etc. i dont care if its their first time, at the end of the day, its still bad
-boring games that are all one sided (ive only seen squirtle/sheth, mon/hasuobs/, ret/puma, no morrow/july)
-quality of the stream isnt that great. i know i could pay for a better quality, but look at the other events, mlg, dream hack, homestory, from what i remember im pretty sure they were all atleast 480p when they were free
-brb 2 5 min games with an hour break until the next series
-breaks in between games are just way too long
-bo3 is just plain stupid for a final 16. should be bo5, and finals bo7.

nothing wrong with the casting though everyones doing a great job in terms of casting.

All been posted like 10000 times. Nobody gives a shit about your opinion of something we all know and agree on.

it is repeated so often to change something.. would you listen to a single opinion among thousands as an organizer?

When people say Huk is korean it just means he trains like a korean. It's like the NBA. Europe has a pro basketball league but it seems more relaxed. Once a European comes to America for NBA he is looked as like every other American player. That is what Huk is. He is Canadian but looked at as a top pro korean, top pro korean = NBA.

To win big sc2 tourneys, you either have to be Korean, or train in Korea, that's 95% fact.

Guys, if NASL is going to be this shit (and no doubt there will be further delays - it's been seven fucking hours) - we might as well just start live reporting the IGN in this thread, since there is no dedicated thread.

HuK considers HuK Korean, I do to. He refers to himself as having "Korean training" in the sense that he plays like a Korean player now. So essentially his online playstyle and persona is of a Korean, even though he may not be.

Select is the opposite. His online playstyle and persona is that of a North American, even though he may not be.

Why don't people get it rofl.

Messi is not considered a spanish football player even though he has lived in the country for over 10 years and used the superior training facilities and rutines that they have there. HuK has been in Korea for a year and although he trains and lives like a korean, he is not a korean.

Worst argument ever since messi is considered by lots of argentinians as a catalan player more than an argentinian player
