I'd imagine he wasn't too happy to contribute more losses to the emperor when he's going through hard times.
I noticed this, and wow what a nice guy MC is. He was probably doing that on purpose (at least make the match/set somewhat exciting). Besides, being more passive just meant that he could focus on things that help him secure his win, like macro, while losing his army and having poorer micro = more excitement (people notice battles but not production).
Either way, MC at least didn't do a ceremony besides just putting his arms in the air, so, <3

Sure some sound issues and it took 12 hours (lol that is kind of ridiculous), but at least the games went off pretty flawlessly and the stream was up the entire time. I think the reason many people (me included) disliked this day of NASL worse than MLG Dallas is simply because MLG Dallas had a better reason for being terrible, network/ISP issues isn't really something that's easy to predict or prevent and it wasn't their overall production that sucked. In NASL I feel like they get ALL the basics wrong, observing on smart-cam and having that "fixed" by someone not involved with the league at all, 'earthquake-camera' of the scene/crowd, sound balance being 80% right 20% left, sound guys forgetting to turn on/off microphones and failing at volume control, day9 + the sound quality sounds like a raped microphone, terrible intros with "highlights" that were just clips of onesided battles and not really highlights, so much downtime that I feel sorry for everyone who went there live.
(Also with a lot of terrible games combined with the issues above made it twice as bad, and it's a shame having Tastosis there but not using them nearly as much as they should be. But that's just my personal opinion and nothing I can blame on NASL.)

The only positive things they have are the game itself, tastosis/day9 and of course the price money(which leads to good players). Otherwise nobody would watch this rly bad show. I wish I saw the games you saw. Think I wasn't here for all the good ones.
Did you possibly read CEDEPHDREI's post wrong? Because I don't see how your post relates.

+ Show Spoiler +Game 1 Xel'naga Caverns:White-ra was denied information game 1 and went a really greedy 2 gate DT, Robotics, Expansion build against a 2 rax, missed his first force field and that was pretty much it, he might of actually held if the force field landed correctly, but that's a weird what-if.
Game 2 Crossfire: Select got an early lead then expanded to the gold, White-ra had a chance to come back but spotted the gold too late with his large army, and was forced to engage losing the engagement. Another battle was going to occur but white-ra danced around selects army and up into his base, but despite being parked over production just didn't have enough to win.

It has been ridiculous. The worst thing in this entire thread has been the white knighting by people about NASL; do you guys not realize some people have paid actual money for this? Never again will I be fooled as bad as I was about NASL.

North American Fail League.

Im quite surprised, happy though of course, that Darkforce advanced. Strange world.

At first i was angry cuz sound and everything but quality was awful.
But last 3/4 hours were great ! Keep up the good work NASL !

I enjoyed the coverage myself, but being Australian I missed a lot of the earlier games due to being asleep at that time. I assume there were a lot of problems through the first half of the games, since the only problems for me were dodgy microphones during interviews which didn't annoy me so much. Was fun!!

Honestly I think they should just release free vods for today. That would justify everything imo, besides for a few butthurt people who are just butthurt because they couldn't see it "live."
