More people watching MLG know what MLG is than who 2GD is, or rather care about Quake.

I'll put the quote back up and bold a specific thing for you: "it's completely ridiculous to THINK that you can represent a company and bad mouth them live on stream." It's not like if that ever happens, a company has to react. But to think that some people think that's ok is just ridiculous, and plus, people who justify it by saying, "what about the time this other guy bad mouthed this company and nothing happened hmmm?". I really don't get it. Are you suggesting 2GD goes into that QL cast thinking "Time to slip in some Dreamhack advertisement and subtly bash MLG"? ^ And just to add to your list of silly points. I'm pretty sure if you're watching the MLG stream you probably know what MLG is. So yes more people watching the stream know what MLG is.

Almost every company has strict policies, atleast in the beginning of a trial employment in europe From my time there and others working there. Obviously I'm giving a broad example but it's quite hard to fire someone unless there's some extremely damming evidence to support claims. Just saying "lol @ our technical difficulties" would never constitute this. Attacking your boss publicly without have any backing or falsifying facts will however fall into this. Sure a company could remove you but if the person decides to go to court it's rather hairy.

No I'm not, I'm suggesting that's it's not ok, and it's even more ludicrous to think that you can justify it in the ways that some people have been doing.

Him being on MLG helps MLG's QL audience more than it helps him btw. Because JP isn't bashing MLG during an MLG event on an MLG stream. He is doing it on his own show, on his own stream. There is a huge difference.

Let's just say it's happened before, Blizzard has the same policies as any other corporation. I don't think Blizzard would like any of their casters to bad mouth them during Blizzcon.

Him being on MLG helps him more than it helps MLG that is for sure. MLG has access to the greatest; Yes, but he wasn't disrespecting MLG in any obvious way. He made a joke, a joke that was based upon reality and about a topic that MLG officials have joked about for a long time. His words would not have hurt MLG had they ignored them. MLG do have access to the greatest but they just booted him. As someone said before, 2GD is Day[9] and Tastosis morphed into one. He can make a game exiting just by himself and he would have been a real asset for MLG. I'm sad that this hurts Quake though. It would have been awesome if MLG could have picked up the game.

MLG should've taken the joke, They should've known kicking 2GD off mid series was a bad decision. is Blizzard running the WCG?

MLG aren't reliant on 2GD (imo) Of course, people are blowing it up way too much. But I cannot agree that MLG is more important to 2GD than vice versa, because 2GD has it set with the BLC stuff and DH stuff he does, and he has a fanbase that enjoy the kind of jokes he does. Meanwhile, doing this just creates more MLG hate, removing 2GD is basically shooting yourself in the foot, as now there are alot more people aware of what 2GD made fun of and that MLG was annoyed enough to remove him. If they did nothing, people would have laughed at the joke and that would be that. Now theres a whole "lol MLG butthurt! can't take a joke" thing going on, and in the end that is worse publicity than a guest-caster making a comment like he did. In the end it wont really matter for neither MLG nor 2GD, people just like drama so they exaggerate.
