Sounds like MLG has just putting themselves deeper in it right now. I doubt they did any research on 2GD whatsoever.

I turned off the stream. Only wanted to watch Quake because 2gd was casting but since MLG couldn't take a very lighthearted joke about their company there was no reason to watch. Didn't they know who they invited to cast beforehand lol?

I can understand why MLG is mad, but they are really overreacting.
Anyway, let's get back to watching the games, no need to debate this anymore.
MLG kicking 2GD was bad move. Also overall everything feels too tense and serious. Why try Quake Live and then kick the best Quake caster out for funny joke. Everyone knows MLG has technical difficulties, maybe joking about them would help. Sugar coating everything and being super clean and serious has it's drawbacks in entertainment value.
