Waste of Korea spots? Nice job showing off your complete lack of knowledge. There's no Korea 'spots' lmfao, FXO just decided to show up, as could any other foreign team if they wanted to.

Ya the observer noticed it, he showed the ghost academy being empty and then zoomed in on the dot. the marking was there, i was laughing the whole time it came down.. Someone said that the sound of forcefields overrides the nuclear launch detected warning, but the dot was clearly there.

NO U no reason to flame me, im just stating the obvious. these guys obviously dont belong in the GSTL and they are only cementing the "koreans>foreigners" myth by getting dominated in every round.

I think he was referring to you calling them a "waste of korea-spots"... What does that even mean? They aren't taking anyone's spot, they aren't representing the foreign scene, they're representing themselves, as FXO.

The team's owner paid for his team to be flown to Korea, he flew his entire team to Korea so they could get better and compete with top players. They aren't representing the foreigner scene, this is FXO trying to get better and get more recognition themselves.

Wow, are you aware of how dumb you sound? A team has the initiative and ambition to go to Korea to compete, train, and improve themselves in a good environment. Of course, they're not amazing immediately, and they have many obstacles to overcome. And, in the middle of their arduous path to improvement, you're sitting here bitching about how they're making the foreign scene look bad? Are you serious? There are so many things wrong with your post that I'm overwhelmed with what I should focus on. Firstly, I don't even know why you're calling it "koreans own white guys talk" because FXO has quite a few Koreans/Korean-Americans on it. Leave talk of "white guys" and your stupid racial bias out of it. Secondly, one of the big issues in problem the foreigner community is facing in terms of Korea leaving it behind in skill is that most foreigners aren't experiencing the practice regimen and environment that Koreans are subject to. There's lots of talk of how foreigners need to go to Korea to also experience the great practice environment that Korea offers. Despite that, many foreign teams have trouble committing to actually going to Korea to compete, due to many issues, ranging from financial ones to commitment ones. Yet here's FXO, doing exactly that, and here you are, bitching about how they're making the foreign scene look bad when they're doing something great. It makes my head hurt. I wish FXO the best of luck.

People would obviously be more likely to use FXO as a model of how foreigners can compete if they performed well, but to say that they're making foreigners look bad because they aren't doing well is silly because that was never their goal, that's all I'm addressing in this regard.

I personally find it embarrassing when I see people complaining about how FXO is making foreigners look bad. What happened to supporting our foreign players? What happened to acknowledging and respecting the move FXO took to go to Korea? Some people sadly only care about results and about making the community look good rather than supporting its growth and the growth of its players. Those hypocrites make the foreign scene look far worse than FXO ever could, especially since getting all-killed or nearly all-killed has happened to plenty of strong Korean teams in the past. Seed got a 3-kill on oGs, Taeja and LosirA all-killed Zenex, some Zenex player almost all-killed SlayerS in the first season, Squirtle and Sage all-killed fOu. It's not really a big deal. I can see what FXO was trying to do, giving its players booth experience. It's sacrificing possibly using as many good players as they possibly could, but I think it's good in the long run. Even if you lose, if you have a good mentality, the experience can never be a bad thing IMO.

How do you keep up with these name-changes....ffs loll And addressing the "making foreigners look bad" topic: I think that FXO does decrease the Korean's respect I guess, for us....but that just makes it even sweeter when FXO's players all do better, or when F. United enters the scene. I think players like Sheth, qxc.....they just need to have some better mechanics Or solve their nerve issues. Once they do that, they can become just as good as a Korean progamer.

Totally agree with everything you're saying. FXO are the ONE team willing to make sacrifices, go to Korea and train like hell, and as soon as they lose badly people bitch and whine that they're "embarassing the foreign scene." No, the foreigners who complain about Koreans winning all the events are embarassing the foreign scene. FXO are awesome.
