maybe i misread it, but in my eyes it says that:
" - At MLG Columbus, the Top 3 non-Korean finishers will each be placed into GSL Code A. - At every 2011 Pro Circuit Live Competition after MLG Columbus, GSL placement will occur as follows: - Code S status will be awarded to the highest placing player, regardless of country of origin, who does not already have Code S status. - Code A status will be awarded to the next three highest placing non-Korean players. - If Code S status is awarded to a Korean player, Code A status also will be awarded to the 4th highest placing non-Korean player. - All travel and accomodation expenses for these players will be provided by the GSL. "

you're beating a dead horse, this has been discussed to death - he's not getting Code-S unless he goes to the next MLG, and wins.

okay i was too excited too read properly^^ ty

You didn't misread it. The problem is that Columbus and previous ones aren't similar in rules to future MLGs. Otherwise MMA wouldn't have had to fall out of Code A with his disappointing performances against Puzzle (he would've fallen back to Code A if he competed in Code S however, as MC, Trickster, Killer, anypro and HuK [solid-to-great toss] would have beaten him if he had the same luck in Ro32, and players like NesTea, MKP, Polt, MVP and Bomber would also beat him badly).
At least MMA has more time to practice new builds, counters, fixes to his deficiencies, and strategies as well as focus his attention back on GSTL now that he got kicked out of Code A real quick.

Hell yeah Sheth. And another toss waiting for him in Ro16, this is looking good!
|
whoa havent followed the thread, but wtf MMA????? who was this dude that beat him never heard of him before.
and gj Sheth!

Just imagine him throwing a bowl of rice at MC. More realistically, Nestea.

I don't know why people were hoping MMA would lose so Sheth could continue. I would want him to play the hardest people so he can improve, not get handed wins.
|
Beating Puzzle would be amazing, not "handed" anything.
|
Can we get some korean reactions after Sheth's win? Anyone? :o

Cheers, QXC. Nice work bud. Gonna agree - I absolutely loved QXC's illumination of the PVT matchup - one that I don't understand as solidly, being a zerg player myself. Got a lot of great casting from players from Homestory cup too.
I'm not as harsh a critic as IPA, but I still think that Wolf+QXC was one of the best GSL casts outside of Tastosis!
The puns on Puzzle made me groan, though. A good kind of groan, maybe. But ugh, are we going to hear that until someone eliminates him? SHETH FIGHTING :D?

Sheth is going to have a heck of a time with Puzzle.
Puzzle looks like a far better and more consistent player than San.

IMO, Sheth vs. San was good enough to be Ro8 or at least Ro16. Soccer vs. VanVanth should never have been a thing.
