Hi Xeris,
What will happen to the schedule if you have less than 512 applicants (seems likely going at the current rate). Will the tournament still start on the 20th or will it start on the 21st (saying there are more than 256). If it starts on the 21st would check-in also be moved until then?
It seem to me given the number of registered applicants and the remaining time that this could be an easy fix to the DreamHack schedule conflict.
Also, if say there are 700 signups and the top seeds get a bye on the first day do they still have to complete check-in on the 20th during the half hour window? Just brainstorming possible solutions to the purposed DH time conflict.

Glad to see Dimaga, Demuslim, Thorzain on that list though :D We would like to see a foreign player win though...how many players would SlayerS players slay if SlayerS players could slay players? All of them.

Maybe Korean/Naniwa feedbacks hurt a bit the tourney, cause atm a top8 looks quite terrible.

It looks like ViBE has signed up for the open. I'm pretty sure that is not allowed though I'm sure someone has already told him that or at least I'd hope so.

92 participants after a week.
Probably lucky to hit 200 by the 20th.

If we have 256 or less, we will start on the 22nd. If we have closer to 512, we'll start on the 21st.

Just curious if you guys (NASL) are reaching out to the foreign coaches/managers to inform them of what this tournament is and what winning it will land them. I realize some of the korean teams already have players in NASL that could be communicating this, but perhaps reaching out directly to the teams may encourage some koreans to sign up (don't see any signed up at the moment which seems odd considering how they always give the impression in interviews they wish they could play in more tournaments than just the GSL).

Well 1pm on a monday doesn't really work. A shame considering most of the competition is already in NASL and I'd have a good shot :{
Oh well GL to everyone.

DeMu fighting. Hopefully a few more sign up, but there is still some quality in the tourney. I think the winner is gonna have a challenge on their hand vs Ret though.

Curious as to this information as well.

Why on earth would this start on a Monday at 1pm ?

Goody signed up, isn't that not allowed?

NASL casts all their games live. That's typical time for when the crew are ready for casting.

It sucks to require several weekdays @1pm in a row (eliminating most NA ppl with jobs), but it also makes sense if that is the NASL regular season cast time. If you can't make it 1pm now, then you'll probably not be able to make during the regular season.

They cast their games live, but they don't broadcast their games live.

Isn't the qualifier only for new comers ? I thought people eliminated from season 1 had only one shot to qualify for season 2 and still I see ViBE and GoOdy registered :<
