Since I don't watch Korean SC2 in the middle of the night I have never heard of any of them. They don't stream, they don't do twitter, they are never on any of the SC2 shows, western viewers have no attachment to these players.

Yes, I wish the biggest Western tournament would not invite any more Koreans. If they want to fly over and own the open bracket with their own money then go for it. But giving them free flight, free hotel, free placement, just so they can sweep the money and kill the western scene, that makes me angry.

Maybe they should take the game seriously if they want to consider themselves pros? The biggest tournament in Korea that has a $25000 monthly prize allows seeds into it from MLG, it is FULLY the fault of the foreigners that they simply are not good enough to take that prize.

It is well known that prominen foreginer players don't practice as much as even they self feel they should.

I can see why, they are making more money streaming and goofing around in sotg etc than if they where just practising.
I understand that they need to get food on their tables and they really do alot for the esports but practise should be their no1 priority imo.

I'm almost certain idra has said he feels he plays better when he doesnt grind out games practicing. Might have misheard that.

For some reason MLG is not the same without foreigners. 'Don't get me wrong, I love MMA and LosirA but it feels like another GSL.

Don't reply to these comments.. people watch games for different reasons. I do because I love starcraft, which means I'll be happy to watch koreans at the top if they are truly the best. Other people watch for the hype, and they feel more excited when their homies play. I understand the feelings of many people, although I feel that shouldn't make them miss quality starcraft games.

There is no shortage of quality games, what makes MLG and other tournaments special to me is cheering for personalities I know. Just having random amazing players, that don't speak the language, that are not involved in the western scene (don't stream, don't go on shows, don't contribute) I just don't care about their results.

A korean wins, which one? I certainly don't care, in fact, koreans will take home all the big money, because they are top 3.

Racism and discrimination has something to do with all sports... It's something that increases nationalism, and nations clashing which leads to more racism. It's all in psychology of racism.

It's supposed to make you more proud of your own nation which makes it feel like it's more bonded together and that your a "team" against your opposition.

Which is a roadblock to world peace, and general world togetherness.

I thought MMA was a goner for sure when he lost his tanks and marines outside Losira's 3rd. Such amazing mixture of solid defense and efficient offense, denying expos, destroying tech and wearing down the muta count!

i think you guys are praising mma a little too much

if it was any other highish level zerg i think mma would have lost

he was caught with ALL of his tanks unsieged TWICE, but losira completely screwed up those engagements

i mean his late game drops were amazing but he was pretty much in a safe position to do those drops

it's another game where one player fucks up rather than one player playing like a boss

My mind is blown. Why don't more Terrans drop and take out the spawning pool?! It seems so simple, but it gives a reprieve from the relentless aggression that normally picks apart Terrans against muta ling bling.

the key mistake was losing that mass of banelings mostly to siege tanks. After the threat of banelings disappeared, MMA went in a sniped the pool; it was all downhill from there.
