Tbh it was less MMA winning than Losira throwing away games by attacking at the worst times, and in my opinion, staying on ling blin too long when working towards a muta flock or infestor blob is a much stronger option against marine tank. Oh well, at least MC should be able to take this tournament, seeing as how MMA got taken out by Huk.

this second game was VERY VERY GOOD, sc2 quality is getting better all the time, can't wait for it to get to an BW status, hopefully "foreigners" will be able to keep up this time.

So sad that there won't be a State of the Game show to wrap this tournament up. So many stories and most of all - Korean domination to discuss. Sure, some Europeans weren't there (WhiteRa etc) but honestly, these aren't exactly the top Koreans either.

Will we see the same thing happen at Dreamhack in two weeks? I think so.

Would have LOVED to have a SotG on this where the pros themselves can speak on the matter.

Since I don't watch Korean SC2 in the middle of the night I have never heard of any of them. They don't stream, they don't do twitter, they are never on any of the SC2 shows, western viewers have no attachment to these players.

Yes, I wish the biggest Western tournament would not invite any more Koreans. If they want to fly over and own the open bracket with their own money then go for it. But giving them free flight, free hotel, free placement, just so they can sweep the money and kill the western scene, that makes me angry.

Maybe they should take the game seriously if they want to consider themselves pros? The biggest tournament in Korea that has a $25000 monthly prize allows seeds into it from MLG, it is FULLY the fault of the foreigners that they simply are not good enough to take that prize.

It is well known that prominen foreginer players don't practice as much as even they self feel they should.

I can see why, they are making more money streaming and goofing around in sotg etc than if they where just practising.
I understand that they need to get food on their tables and they really do alot for the esports but practise should be their no1 priority imo.

Don't reply to these comments.. people watch games for different reasons. I do because I love starcraft, which means I'll be happy to watch koreans at the top if they are truly the best. Other people watch for the hype, and they feel more excited when their homies play. I understand the feelings of many people, although I feel that shouldn't make them miss quality starcraft games.

There is no shortage of quality games, what makes MLG and other tournaments special to me is cheering for personalities I know. Just having random amazing players, that don't speak the language, that are not involved in the western scene (don't stream, don't go on shows, don't contribute) I just don't care about their results.

A korean wins, which one? I certainly don't care, in fact, koreans will take home all the big money, because they are top 3.

It's not racist, I care much less for the Koreans, not because they are Koreans but because they don't participate in any tournaments I watch. This means that I neither love not hate them and thus their games become boring to watch, no emotions at all from my side.

I am unfortunately not a big enough Starcraft fan to watch games just because the player who plays them is good, I'm mostly watching for excitement.

If you're not watching the SC2 scene with the highest skill level (Korean scene), then it's your loss. Don't bitch about non-Koreans being eliminated.
