Okay we're going to start cracking down on people bashing players for no reason. You don't have to like every player, but at least show some respect. (as of page 402) |

I asked this same thing a few pages back, I was wondering what the logic was behind only combining two pools of players instead of mixing together all 4 pools.

Vibe is quite good. Liquid Zergs + Tyler (and maybe TLO) are going to have to think about how they're going to snipe Vibe/Major given they're all in the same bracket in the Championship LB.
Nice to see Haypro show a good performance, too.

Haha, wow :O It's like Vibe is the manifestation of TLO's zerg "dark side"

I don't hate Halo at all. I think it's awesome they can play professionally and people watch. But don't come in here and start spouting some nonsense like Halo requiring BW skill when they play on an Xbox controller with auto aim.
edit: not you specifically, just in general. Fair point. But then, top level BW is unrivalled in terms of skill level by any game ever. But whether that is due to the game itself or the scene is up for debate. lol...maybe any VIDEO game ever...

I uploaded most of pool play games (not the ones that haven't been uploaded yet) in a nicely sorted .zip:
Edit: Added a few replays, new pack: http://drop.sc/packs/129

Vibe playing quite impressively right now.

Not mainstream anyway. Plenty of other games with a higher skill gradient though. Just not used for tournament play.

TLO loses game 1 to vibe!

WHAT!? when did Vibe get so dank? His control was insane... damn I'm a fan

we have great players like thorzain, july, and mc on the bottom half while the top half has some pretty bad players in comparison.
ret/slush/sheth/tyler etc are pretty good but nowhere near as good as the above. really? then don't fucking watch it, especially when they aren't broadcasting any other match. Not like they chose the CLB over the winner's bracket, and besides all of these players have just as much of a shot at the title as do the big names... remember a dude named naniwa? how do you think he won last mlg, up through the same brackets being cast right now, although based on your reasoning he probably sucks too... No, Naniwa was never in the loser brackets. He never lost a game before the finals. To the originator of this quote train...they're all in losers? Unless you think the players you listed are better than Idra/Losira/Nani/MMA?

I can't wait until Tastosis gets back to Korea to cast GSL and Tasteless accidentally says "We'll be right back here at the MLG"

I'm interested to know what the TvZ record is so far this tournament. Seems like Z has been dominating pretty hard.

I wonder how TLO Carpal Tunnel is feeling right now :/

Where is the Nick and Sean Plott combination? I think everyone wants to see that. Oooh haha, that will be tragic if that doesn't happen at least once... come on MLG, make it happen They won't be together casting an event too often, I imagine. And I hate day9 but I'd love to see Tasteless with his brother haha. OoOoooOoOoO...... is it possible to hate day9? I would probably alter my sexuality for him.. I used to love him back in the beta days ^^ But I feel that he theorycrafts too much and with too much confidence, and theory craft/balance statements should not be taken seriously unless you can back it up with games played, and as far as I know he doesn't show his 1v1 matches against pros? But I don't want to derail too much.

Vibe has been really improving in his results lately.

My friend keeps saying Gunz requires insane APM, is this true?

Yeah, a complete mix would be much better (and prevent a lot of extended series carrying over).
