Okay we're going to start cracking down on people bashing players for no reason. You don't have to like every player, but at least show some respect. (as of page 402) |

He didn't. This is loser brackets.

Anyone know who
Cruncher Vibe KawaiiRice
are playing against? (out of MooNaN Gretorp Select)

I always wondered why MLG doesn't incorporate any fighting games like Marvel vs Capcom 3, which has alot of drama and a thriving community :/

IMO the Koreans aren't dominating enough, they shouldn't lose a game EVER. take away mbs and you'll get your domination. Forgive my ignorance but what does mbs stand for?
don't ask you don't want to start another bw vs sc2 argument it gets pretty unreasonable.
Its multi building selection. In bw you wheren't able to select more then one building at a time. beacuse that wouldn't be laughed out of every game ever created now.

However, it is a far cry from the dominance they held in Brood War. The matches between top tier foreigners and top tier Koreans are extremely competitive, and I believe the gap will only continue to narrow as esports grows in the west. Throwing up the series results of the koreans is a bit misleading, as many of them were extremly close series that, in my opinion, could have gone the other way a good 50% of the time. Koreans are still far above most of the world except for a few, but it isn't like BW. In BW, if any foreign player even took a game off someone like Bisu at an international event, it would create an uproar. Here, if someone like MC drops a series to Idra, it's not the same thing. SC2 isn't mechanical enough for there to be such a gap. SC2 is very mechanical, but has streamlined a lot of the mechanics associated with BW. The mechanics needed now are not identical to Brood War, they are there, but they are different. Sure its still very mechanical, but not in comparison to its predecessor. That was the point of his post. I understand, but I was just saying if you use BW as the baseline for what mechanics are, then yeah it needs more. But Blizzard artificially closed the gap by streamlining a lot of the mechanics that BW pros took years to develop, so their practice did not transfer over 1:1. But if you remove the BW standard and take SC2 alone, the mechanical gap could still expand just the same. I meant SC2 is just as mechanical, but the mechanics are different, and the ones in the past that made the original gap were artificially closed.
Oh yeah we're in agreement there; I was just thrown off by the slight vagueness in your post.
I don't know if there will ever be anything close to a similar mechanical gap in SC2, but until the game is done being patched/has been out a few years its just an opinion. :/

IMO the Koreans aren't dominating enough, they shouldn't lose a game EVER. ^lol you clearly do not understand the game very well. Even IDRA said that there it is very difficult to completely dominate the game as a player with near perfect consistency. And yet, the Koreans are showing that they are a cut above the rest. Don't be mad at me be mad at the stats Korea fighting!!!!!! If Non-Koreans could afford team houses and to be able to practice 60+ hrs a week then there would be ZERO difference in skill. Uh there are non-Koreans who live in team houses and can practice as much as they want. Their practice schedule doesn't compare at all like the Koreans And I don't see it ever. At least when you compare the practice of these SC2 foreigners to what top BW players go through. I think Flash said in an interview he once practiced for 16 straight hours, until he hands started to bleed.
And I honestly don't know how they do it. Gotta have some fun on the side :D

It does not end well.
TLO has an SCV out in the field reparing the hellions. TLO chooses to expand, QXC goes for banshees. TLO has no marines it seems.
Game paused by TLO.

Actually kind of a good hand. There's only one Q and one X, and they're worth a lot of points (10 and 8 respectively).

Does anyone know if this is the last match for today? Is this Championship Losers 2?

"Nope Nothing for me here!" Halo and CoD: B Ops is sadly boring. Didn't MLG have more games last time? They had Super Smash Bros Brawl a few seasons ago, and I think they had Melee before that.
They also had WoW Arena I think, which was also pretty boring.

How is this losers bracket? TLO is already in the championship bracket.
