Okay we're going to start cracking down on people bashing players for no reason. You don't have to like every player, but at least show some respect. (as of page 402) |

MC was completely jetlagged. Confirmed in thread by the korean translator Milkis who was with them. He was the worst off out of all of them, when Tasteless took a nap inbetween casts, Losira almost fell asleep in his booth, and MMA slept 2 hours inbetween his matches. People who deny jetlag are just being delusional. I feel bad for defending Idra, but this is such a bad excuse. If these PROFESSIONAL gamers can't play properly because of jetlag, then they should travel earlier. MC was a last minute replacement bro. Kinda hard to travel earlier when you weren't even supposed to be there in the first place/ And none of them but Moon had experience with that much of a time difference. Losira/July/MMA were hanging out in bonfires the night they flew into the US while Moon was resting.
I seriously don't get why people keep saying it's a bad excuse. It's literally one of the most legitimate excuses for bad play possible. There is firsthand confirmation from the korean translator that is always with the koreans that they were all affected by jet lag and MC was affected the worst. Being professional gamers means that you suddenly don't get jet lag? Or it means that you are supposed to be just good that having your body in a suboptimal state doesn't hamper your performance at all somehow?
Look at prior games of MC versus IdrA. He absolutely crushed him at Dreamhack. IdrA did the same thing there that he did here. IdrA makes excuses for every loss, I have never seen MC whine about a loss and always acknowledges his opponent, but in this case he said that he would not have loss if he wasn't jetlagged.
But of course jet lag doesn't affect performance and it's a "bad excuse".
EDIT: obviously meant for the guy that you quoted, not you.

Someone correct me if my stat is wrong. well MC lost 2, so it has to be least 14-3 :D
Moon lost to Naniwa 2-0 too. Also Haypro and Incontrol took games off of Losira. Well... its not complete domination!

Just accept that no matter what people will make excuses for when a foreigner beats a Korean.

Someone correct me if my stat is wrong. 5 losses now nani 2-0 moon idra 2-0 mc sjow has 1 on july In terms of series koreans are 14-2, in terms of games moon lost 3(naniwa and drewbie) MMA lost 1(Sjow),MC lost 3(idra and Tyler),Losira lost 2(incontrol and haypro) Also keep in mind that this is no coincidence because many of the Koreans are the creme of the crop in Korea. MC, Losira, MMA, July, etc are fantastic players even by Korean standards. They're on the level, or arguably better, than the rest of the world's Naniwas, Idras, etc. They're going to come to these tournaments and do well. This isn't to detract at all from their accomplishments, either. In fact I'm saying their accomplishments shouldn't be surprising or weird.
Not really surprsing at all that the koreans are dominating mlg. 14-2 so far in SERIES won (not games ) If july wins vs sjow it's going to be 15-2

They can stagger in JP and all swap out we have seen them do that before, maybe invite someone like Chill so they have a set of back up casters ready to go. I don't think it would be to difficult.
