Same here...pretty disapointing...I signed up to compete, and have committed several hours of my time waiting for no shows :-s

Hey admins...both players showed up so far. Great!

Question: I have a bye on Thursday, June 30th and my next round is July 7th. The timer at the top has the correct opponent for my round four (July 7th) match, but the timer is counting down to Thur the 30th.

Should I disregard this? And simply wait until the 7th?

Thanks <3

Fixed!! Thank you!!

I picked up one forfeit win this Sunday as well.

That's fine by me. It just means that 1) I've got a better chance to make it to the next round and 2) when I do get to the next round, all the other players will have proven themselves active, thus kicking off even more exciting games.

I have played both my games no forfits for me
won both 2-0 so i am sitting pretty i think, although when i check it says the matches are still pending which is confusing >.>

edit: it would be nice to be able to see the results for ALL the games as i have no idea how the results in my other group are going and cant seem to find out, annoying.

I'm 2-0 and no forfeits. The rest of my group is silver except 1 diamond. So I think I'll advance.

I searched for it in the rules and skimmed through this thread but couldn't find any answer for this:

On which server are the games supposed to be played? The rules say every player, no matter which continent/country he is from has to have a NA B.net account. Does that also mean that the matches are supposed to be played there?

I think for EU if you both agree to play Eu accounts you can, but for the later stages of the tournament you need a NA account.

I signed up for this but can't actually make any of my matches for this week or next week because things happened. The major regret I have is there's no way I can find to bow out of the tournament. I can post like "Hey, I'm not going to show up", but I don't expect that it will save people time because you have to comply with check-in rules and such to report a forfeit win. There just doesn't seem to be any good way to give everyone in my group a forfeit win.

I Really wanted to play in this tournament, but life happens, priorities, etc.

When the mad crashing happened on tourney day 1, I did get a FFW for my first match... however that was revoked, and I actually ended up playing a match against my 1st opponent on saturday. It was a crushing 2-0 (diamond vs bronze...). My 2nd match was a FFW, and I expect at least 1 or 2 more FFWs to be coming my way... The organizers really should have taken some kind of measures to ensure that people who were signed up for the tournament were really serious about competing

I got a FFW last night. It looks like that I may get a few more based on peoples log-in's in my group...

in my group of 8 players, there are only 3 that appear to be active NA accounts including myself. One guy signed up with his EU information and refused/couldnt figure out how to login to NA's server (forfeit win #1). One guy has 10 games played and just simply did not log in at all the past 3 days (forfeit win #2).

You're able to reschedule your matches you know? assuming your opponent agrees on the new time you ask for.

I have had 2 FFW already. They just completely don't respond to me. I'm hoping I get to play a few before pool play ends

Yeah, actually I was able to do some schedule shuffling and possibly can play on Tues/Wed - here's to hoping it works out. Unfortunately there wasn't anything I could really do about last week - I think the most I accomplished in SC2 last week was logging in late Wednesday and playing 5 games.

Still, most tournaments have a something-came-up type of option to bow out gracefully. That would have likely fixed at least a few of those FFWs, though not nearly all of them I'm sure.

i havent had a ff round yet, but if i do i dont think i will mind that much. i know it seems like a waste of time or whatever, but if that time is already set aside for the game and they dont show up, then it isnt much of a difference. annoying, yeah i guess, but not life changing
