Game One Recap ( apologize if it's not the greatest)
Destination starts with a proxy 11/11. Pulls 6/7 SCVS.
forGG opens gas before barracks. First 100 gas right into factory. Builds one marine from barracks, adds a tech lab on it. Going for Blue Flame. It never completes.
Destination walks up ramp with 6 marines and starts attacking. Hellion pops out for ForGG. He sneaks two of them out and runs them back to Destinations base as Destination is flying his barracks up to try and block the ramp so he can't get hellions out. Hellions proceed to destroy all of destinations SCVs.
Meanwhile in ForGG's base, marines are still being produced, ForGG has a few scvs and a mule, 2 marines and 2 hellions. Destination unloads his bunker and goes in for the kill, lines up his marines and they get burned to shit.
Destination has been flying his orbital over to ForGG's base, so he didn't have any mining going on. Produces his last marine and ForGG barely kills it. Destination GGs.

I loved watching that previous game. Insane management from ForGG. Funnest short game ever.

Orb, if you like how sim city design reveals itself throughout the game, you may appreciate the game of Go. It's very similar to what you described, because one has to put the skeleton of general shapes and gradually connect the dots. Also recommended to any fan of sim city planning.

I still can't believe all the buildings ended up in the same main due to real strategy, and not as a joke. The excitement of Forgg's 2 hellions vs the final group of Destination's marines is what I dream a GSL Code S final will be like someday.
Is it possible Destination would have won if he hadn't salvaged the bunker, and not bum-rushed forgg's CC?

well this is what can happen if you rush to Blueflame without doing any actual damage with it , you just die to a push with Tanks and Marines. Helions suck as actual fighting units ^^

Well to be fair to Destination, I wouldn't exactly want to play a macro game against forGG either...
That being said I hope ForGG smashes him out this next game and splatters his cheesy brain all over the place :D

That was bad tank placement by ForGG + he didn't have his vikings+raven close enough. I hope he takes game 3, I don't like Destination at all.

He could have held that. Losing 2 tanks for free is no joke. SCVs, hellions, landed vikings, a few tanks destroy the 1/1/1 really easily. Watch MVP vs MMA on xelnaga caverns from MLG Anaheim if you wanna see how easy it is to defend. (he doesn't actually get tanks).

Actually it was 4/1/1 after Cloak Banshees. So bad and I can't believe Destination won anyways.
And no excuses for Destination, he cheeses every single game he does. Sam against Bomber and so on. I have zero respect for him...

Still i don't think opening fast BF is that good anymore . Mech is still viable but rushing BF will leave you very open now to get killed since Helions don't instagib Marines anymore especially in lower numbers.
