EPTThis will be a tournament as well as a LAN party. The tournament itself will begin @ 7pm and end once a champion is crowned. The LAN will run throughout and end in the early morning. We will be bringing pizza and other entrees provided by Tower Pizza. Also, gXe will be featuring a fully loaded cafe for those who wish to indulge in some of the finest quick homemade meals around. All of our Starcraft 2 tournament match-ups will be viewed on a projector in the primary gaming room while our competitors are in an adjacent room.

Sign-in will be @ 3pm - 6:30pm
Our first MU will begin @ approx 7pm. (Please do not be late!)
Tourney brackets will be decided based on league, points, and carpool. We want to make sure that our players are competing in a balanced yet unfamiliar territory.
MAPS:
Current ladder rotation for 1v1.
Each player will be allowed to veto one map on the sign-in sheet that will carry until the end of the tournament.
Rules:
We will be doing single elimination until we reach the Round of 8. At which point we will begin doing best of 3 game sets. The grand finals will be a best of 5 game set.
Once you choose your race upon sign-in, you will not be allowed to change it. You must play the race you originally opted for. In the event of a draw/stalemate/computer crash, a judgement call will be made by referees to move forward with the tournament.
We reserve the right disqualify any player that violates standard common sense ethics involved in E-sport play IE:Bad manners, Cheating of any kind, or any other act of indiscretion.
Prizes:
We will be basing our prize off of the complete turnout of the event. $30 will be the base for 1st place and increase depending on the numbers. Also, we will be giving away a Geforce 9800GTX Video card to the 1st place winner. 2nd place is TBD.

==Starcraft 2 tournament==
Two high end gaming towers will be provided for our Starcraft 2 competitors in an adjacent room while spectators watch from the primary gaming hall. We ask that you bring your own:Keyboard, Mouse, Mouse pad, headset, or any other equipment you will need to hook into our boxes.
==LAN players==
Bring your Gaming Tower, Gaming Rig, or your Gaming Laptop, Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Headphones, & a 6ft to 10ft Ethernet Patch Cable. Electricity & Data Hookup will be provided for you. Other possible items to bring but not mandatory is a surge power strip and a small data switch if you have more than one gaming machine.

There will be a $2 entry fee at the door for all LAN gamers. If you wish to participate in our Starcraft 2 tournament, we will be charging an additional $3 dollars to contribute to organization / prizes.
