If China ever dominates it would not just be because the game blew up there but because the game died in Korea. it's not like korea is taking sc2 seriously. the talent in sc2 is pretty damn mediocre, especially when you see full time team house pros like supernova and mkp getting manhandled by europeans who mainly play ladder.
Koreans not taking SC2 seriously? Well then Current BW pros must not have been upgrading computers or anything in anticipation of possibly switching over to SC2. They'd only do that if they were taking SC2 seriously.

Let's be honest, Xigua has to have had the easiest bracket in any major tournament ever.. He's beat exactly one semi big known name in Kas and he's in the finals... Everyone else he's played has zero big tournament results. He still has to prove himself.

Man, I have not been to Busan for 15 years, that country town sure have changed.

He didn't "almost" beat DRG, lol. He 2-0ed him.
iirc. DRG beat HerO 2-0 in groups at Raleigh, however, HerO almost came back in the extended series from a deficit when they met later on. DRG barely won the final game. So yeah "almost"

Wow crazy results :O. Just woke up. Why is WCG so early T_T Kas beat Marinking and Titan won vs Supernova ? Sick sick. and finally Xigua shows why poeple consider him the best zerg in China, but if he gets MVP in the finals he will get destroyed ><. Still great result for Kas even if he loses to MVP.

They'd only do that if they were taking SC2 seriously. What? They aren't because they actually haven't switched yet. You think half ass practicing in your spare time is taking it seriously? Some people are seriously deluded here, but SC2 is not as competitive as SC1. Once SC1 players switch everyone currently will have to work twice as hard and train much harder than they ever have before. The SC2 training regimen in Korea is nothing like the SC1 training. I'm not trying to bring up a SC1 vs. SC2 argument here, but once people see other people training even harder that's when shit gets tough and weaker amateurs will get weeded out.
Koreans train hard as it is, but you haven't seen anything yet. Foreigners will have to be 100% dedicated to sc2 as well.

Not at Raleigh, in GSL.

Do you see SC2 in Proleague? Has there even been concrete information that SC2 is going to be in Proleague? All I saw is rumors and even if KeSPA had discussions about including it this season they quite clearly decided against it other wise they would have announced that when the season started.
