Fast lair so NesTea could drop creep outside the natural of Anypro taking advantage of the lack of units in a forge f/e and spinecrawler pushes the nexus before any stargate units got out.

yea this build isn't new at all.. but it is still very nice

I feel like P from now on might have to just adjust by making a Zealot or Stalker in lieu of getting a high probe count for when the nexus completes.

Since he had his Lair up, couldn't he also research drop and drop some Drones in the main?

THAT WASNT ANYWHERE CLOSE TO THE SAME STRAT. same units and buildings doesnt mean its the same strat .

NesTea continually breaks the game - exemplary play once again. IdrA needs to take back his comments from SotG earlier this week.
GG NesTea!

Cool. Lair-rushing and crawler-rush is not a new idea, but to see it exexuted perfectly, in the hardest environment as a specific counter to a specific P-starter, is extremely cool.
Nestea.

It was against HuK but it wasn't anything like this.

Let them dream, it's not like nestea is going to keep doing it.

Haha 6 angry protoss players it seems. :D I'm Protoss and I voted yes. That was badass. If someone does that to me I'll high five them. Just like the CatZ proxy hatch to block wall-offs.

I remember, but Nestea's spine crawlers were MUCH faster, before hydras. In the other game, the protoss had a bunch of gateway units already and the spines had to be escorted with hydras.

That was the Giraffe Migration. That was very different. The Spines were to absorb the damage for the Hydra rush. This was a Spinecrawler rush into Hydra destruction (since Anypro *had* to go Voidrays).

nestea's "proxy" spline reminds me of a funday monday I saw a while back

since spine crawlers take 50s and photon cannons take 40s cant you counter this with cannons ? You'll need a bit of a forward pylon ofc
