This looks great, and congrats on the 1000th post
I love the prize for the 2nd place, so many of the weekly tournaments ignore a player that won 8 rounds but failed to win the last one.
It was actually his 1001st post :D. Hilarity ensured when he said that.
So excited for this :D
Also make sure when it asks for your nickname while adding SC2 as your game, put in your ID as well.
Hells fucking yes! I am so playing in this!
13 people registered so far. A fair number of big names too. Still plenty of time left if you're thinking about it.
SICK ANOTHER WEEKLY TOUR I LOVE U DOODS !
this is so stacked already... thanks for everyone who has signed up so far, we really appreciate it. and to all the guys who aren't top players: sign up! it's a great opportunity to face a pro and to learn a lot from it
ActionJesuz got this! beware of the mighthy proxy hatch ^______^
Congrats RageQuit.tv! Looks good.
We we we so excited. No seriously, that player list is ridiculous.
The more weekly tournaments the better, think you can play a weekly tournament these days every day of the week nearly!!! Deffiantly a step in the right direction.
Looking forward to that tournament!
Another round of amazing players has signed up, and TLO said that he will try to participate too! And all people from any skill level reading this should totally sign up as well. This is going to be so much fun oh yeah, NightEnD is probably going to play too. MaNa just signed up :o also, someone you probably have heard of told me that he will play!
this is getting more and more ridiculous :D
People just have to remember to include their EU ID and char code when they sign up. We can't find you to invite you to your games if you don't!

FYI, This is an OPEN tournament meaning anyone can sign up. Don't let all the big names scare you away ^^ Sign up instructions:

2. Go to “your lounge” (top right), click the star next to your nickname, select games, add game.
3. Select StarCraft II and ENTER YOUR NICK.CHARACTERCODE NEXT TO “YOUR NICKNAME”!!! (For example: noob.123) This is important for opponents to find each other. Tournament is a little more than 24 hours away. If you do sign up, don't forget to put in your Character code with your name such as Sheekthief.123. Like Ipp said, if you didn't put in your code, you will get disqualified due to it being a massive hassle to find the codes and handle all that great stuff.
are MLG maps a good idea? From what I know they only have 2 observer spots.
Hypehypehype.
C'mon guys, we need more signups. There's barely any signups from anyone other than the notable people that have joined.
Keep in mind this is an OPEN tournament, anyone can sign up. If you're reading this and have an EU account, go sign up and play!
A few updates:
The amazing Gunrun and Eleine of GLHF.tv will help out to bring you as many of the awesome matchups as possible in English! myStarCraft.de will handle German coverage, probably by Nightman but depending on the schedule, mighty Khaldor might even do it sc2tv.ru will take care of the Russian side of things (in soviet russia, the tournament streams you!!!) and of course BigPET of sc2ro.ro is going to deliver to the Romanian nerds. And of course the primary stream will be RageQuitTV with Sheekthief and me commentating.
There is a little issue with the displayed time on JeeSports. Check in will be open at Tuesday, May 10 4:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) like designated in the OP. THIS IS THE CORRECT TIME, don't get confused by possible wrong times on JeeSports.com.
And all the new sign ups (welcome!), please follow the sign up instructions in the OP closely. A missing character code will most likely disqualify you from participation. This has been mentioned numerous times but it's very important for the administration.
See you guys tomorrow (later today I guess, time for bed...)!
If you don't know where to add your character code
Its where you added the game to your favourite and filled in the info Server, nick etc
then its just Nick.###
Meh. DrooL messed up my link :D If you click on my website nothing happens so... I'm PET from sc2ro.ro and I will do the Romanian coverage
Sign ups end in 30 minutes! After that players have 1 hour to check in before the brackets are made and the tourney starts!
10 minutes until check in starts. If you want to sign, would be best to do so now! You can't sign up during the check in phase. Also if you have already signed up, make sure to check in!

regular craftcup player. maybe i made the mistake to put him in just because i know his name and have talked to him more than once. if he really is that low in the ladder i'll remove him
ActionJesuz!!! I'm hoping for some 6pool action.

Registration has not yet started| .. weird site you got there..
uh, the brackets are really not nice
i.e. 1. round: qxc -beastyq
and in the 2. round when nothing unexpected is happening TLO-Dimaga
Yeah it is an "Open" tournament, but a little seeding...
Thanks. Kinda brutal first game, was honestly expecting Beastyqt to win looking at the recent form of both players.
How do we find the opponent's id?
check the brackets, and click on your match
you will see your opponents ID if you hover over his name

Yeah it is an "Open" tournament, but a little seeding...
next tournament will have seeding based on the previous results, and with a 64 player grid and the amount of top players we have those matches aren't really too surprising even with seedings

The brackets were random, due to inability to manually create them. As none of these players have any rating on JeeSports, we cannot seed that manner.
However! the more tournaments players play at JeeSports, they will develop a rating, and future tournaments will be seeded appropriately.
Hopefully we will see at least some improvement next tournament, and maybe a month from now everything will be seeded nicely.

TiTAN is the ex-russian WC3 player right ? That's a looooooooooong time but i think he was amazing when he stopped.
Marauders do way too much damage to buildings. A pack of like 7 marauders can kill a nexus is like 15 seconds, definitely not enough time to react.
Though, i suppose it's P's fault for not having cannons and enough gateways to defend against those.
Still, though.

Nice to see a list of strong players having signed up, but don't let the big names scare you off. Upsets can happen!

the signups are looking good again kas, nerchio, underdark, beastyqt, etcetc in this, and with spades, response and neans some US guys as well

We agree it is a bit over complicated and will be smoothed out over time, however signing up and linking your game is only a one time thing. If you participate in future tournaments it is down to just 1 click, pretty easy.
When participating in a tournament please read the instructions, otherwise you can be DQ'd for silly reasons like not putting your ID up so no one can contact you.

Only 2 people registered so far? Come on folks, you can do better than that! Tell your friends, get them in on the chance to get in on the 125 euro prize pool too.
Don't forget, sign ups are OPEN. :O Anyone that has an European SC2 Account can sign up! No league requirements or anything!
still barely any sign ups ~.~ would be sad if we had to start this one in the quarter finals. come on guys, sign up and play!
Really guys? Only 6 people signed up? Guess people just don't want a shot at the 125 euro prize pool.

Totally missed the tourney -- A Korean named 'reis' won?? Who is he? beat Nerchio I see.

Some speculation on my part here, but he always translates for Koreans coming over to Germany.
So people in chat thought (and I personally think its quite likely), that it was actually MC or Losira who were playing with his account. Mind you this "Reis" came out of nowhere, played random and took the tourney against some european top players.
I am actually surprised noone made a thread about this.

Yeah, Reis helps the koreans when they travel to foreigner tournaments and I think some koreans played on his account in a IEM tournament if I'm not mistaken. Losira is in Korea so I doubt it was him. It's probably MC since he's in Germany now, but I can't be 100% sure. The admins of this tournament shouldn't allow players to smurf like that. It's ok to play on other account but let your opponent know who you are -.- Also no replays got uploaded T.T
we're still looking into this. i'm gonna upload some replays tonight and maybe i or someone else can put them into sc2gears and make an apm map, see whats coming out of this.
reis is not a bad player i guess, but he's protoss on ladder and the person who played as reis today played random/terran in a pretty cheesy way, with a constant 250 apm. together with very weird behaviour on bnet, that leads to a very high likelyhood that it was indeed MC or whoever else is staying with reis.
if someone has replays by reis where he actually plays (he has quite a few high masters ladder games after all http://sc2ranks.com/eu/1433739/reis) they would be much appreciated to see. as "the reis" who played yesterday literally was sporting a constant 250 sc2 apm so a simple glance onto the apm tab of 5 reps could pretty much figure out if reis was playing or not.
i don't want this to be a huge shitstorm, although some attention would be nice, because i would like to reward the person who actually played with the prize money, and not some random german who has koreans playing on his account -_- if all gets sorted out and reis was actually playing then i eat my words of course.
No need to overreact drooL. Reis is a very nice person and helps eSports a lot. I'm pretty sure he and the player who used his account were just having fun and thought smurfing isn't such a big deal. I don't think Reis did that so people can see him as a good player or to win the prize money MC (if it was him) probably had some free time during the evening and Reis helped him join this cup.
If there's anyone to blame is the admins who should have looked into this during the later rounds. Reis isn't a pro player and it's pretty obvious it wasn't him. I wouldn't be surprised if some koreans also played ladder on his account during tournaments like IEM or Dreamhack, which would explain his decent stats.
But many of the Koreans already got EU-accounts, so I think it is a bit unfair that the opponents didn't know who it was. But he won in a fair way so can't argue that.

I think those accounts are provided by the tournament organizers and the players are not allowed to use them somewhere else.

but why didn't reis just say what's the deal then? i asked him several times, in a friendly fashion who actually played and he dodged/refused to answer. i don't get that at all. and then he stated that he himself played after i asked him 3 times, which we can all agree on is more than likely a lie.
and that's the thing i have a problem with here. being dishonest and unfriendly.

I totally agree, so bad if that reis-nonamer actually get the money for the 1. place if he didn't even play. You got some rules about smurfing, or?
