Give game 2 a try jesus
I think its been proven enough times that Idra doesn't try.

I wish Idra could take some of his confidence when playing lesser opponents and give it to himself when he's playing some of the best.
A series like that makes me think he just sees all the bad things about game 1 and gives up in game 2.

Idra totally had game 1 in the bag but then botched it with terrible BL placement, and then made the horrible decision to throw hands down a corridor into storm+collosus with 0 corruptor support. MC had starports finished and would start cranking out Voidrays. IdrA was so far ahead in the first match but couldn't engange at all. Isn't something flawed when a race can stay so passive and so far behind economically and still win ? He lost his BLs fine, he would have lost with or without losing those. Storms, and collo vs 50% of his army ? What was he suppose to do.

a protest? that wasn't a protoss that was Idra acting like a baby that didn't get his way and throwing a tantrum... he had bad positioning and over extended his broodlords, the fact that, that game even went into macro after loosing an insane amount of queens and overlords early game is amazing and had idra not over extended his broodlords he would have won that battle easy. positioning is everything in a 200/200 army battle and Idra was WAY out of position but he just blames balance has a little hissy fit and 6pools next game that is not a protest he is not a hero he is a little cry baby that is all!

Very strange that idra would fly half across the world only to 6 pool his way out of the tournament. We know for a fact the only time idra would ever opt for 6 pool is in a scenario where he considers himself more or less defeated, that kid does NOT like coin flips. Disappointing.

6 pool is bad on the maps idra did it on. It is basically instant win against cannon fe however, and on maps such as tal darim can provide a zerg with easy wins.

As a zerg i completly agree that idra threw game1. I cannot even comprehend how he could make such an elementary mistake. His main army wasn't positioned well enough to snipe the inevitable offensive blink aimed at the broodlords. Plus the broodlords were WAY out of position and they even started moving towards the xelnaga watchtower platform, which is even worse. He could have shut down mining at that gold safely while waiting for a few infestors.

well IdrA probably gave up because g3 was on on the old shakuras which is really tough for zergs and he just wanted it over with... he should have at least done some roach or baneling all in instead if he thought it was hopeless though... better chance of winning than 6pool on a 2p map lol
