^ Agreed.
Six Reasons Why NASL Will Trump MLG Dallas
1) It's pre-recorded. (Nothing wrong with live events but live should mean "live" ala GSL. This also means VOD's should be uploaded sooner.)
2) It's on Justin.tv (NASL isn't claiming to have all technical issues worked out, but damn it, they're smart enough to run on servers that can handle massive viewership.)
3) It won't use Octoshape.
4) The format is painfully easy to follow.
5) We'll actually know what time what player is playing and can tune in accordingly.
6) Artosis Fighting!
** I am not bashing MLG, simply pointing out what NASL will be doing differently. I paid for the live stream and will continue to pay for all MLG's despite this time's mishaps.

Why do they need bnet at a tournament? What could MLG do diffrently?

I don't see why Blizz can't provide LAN servers for tournaments only, you have to get a license anyway so what's the big deal? Other games like QL only use LAN servers for major tournaments..

Why would u blame blizzard ? MLG connection is a big failure, bnet is working fine. No LAN support. Well, Dreamhack, GSL, Blizzcon. Only on MLG they have problems.
MVP vs DIMAGA. It is really getting annoying, disconnects happens more and more these days.

It's true, you don't need a proper internet connection with Lan....yeah....

Is that Sean i hear in the background yelling? xDD

i have been watching MLG stuff for years and this is the first time anything has gone so wrong. everyone needs to calm down whining won't change anything. try going outside like i'm about to or cooking a nice meal or maybe even playing SC2. just stop freaking out over this its not like they are trying to have stuff go wrong. stuff happens sometimes deal with it.

If you'd been keeping track, you would know that there's not much to report on ;p

MLG'S "Special Tactix"

MLG seems to be the only one having issues. To me, this is a MLG internet problem, not blizzard issue.

I am merely posting here to prove that, given the speed in which this thread grows, no one will even read it because there is no picture or vote in it. So I could write basically anything here. Like for example cheese is delicious, down with bacon. No one will ever find out, and yet I made a statement on the internet. I think Im a freaking genius. Ans since no one will disagree I quite frankly am. What a great day!

I voted 0. Yesterday I waited for 4 hours to watch only 2 games and then collapsed since I couldn't even sit anymore.
Today 3 hours have passed and I've only watched 1 game. I'd call that a pretty big failure.
Events like TSL, IEM and GOM all seem whole lot better now, not that they have ever been bad.

I'm sorry, but if the TSL can cast epic games via uStream with over 50,000 users... for free. Then the argument of "Sorry guys, you just didn't buy enough shirts" seems to be less valuable.
