Add DT and HT tech to that, off two base???
what ? double forge build are really strong. Tyler has been doing that for a while with some success. But I think Grubby should have went collossus.
I didn't say double forge builds are weak. But rushing the +3 upgrades while behind in army count, while teching to HT and DTs is weak.
Stalkers only get 8.3% more dps against marines and 6.6% against marauders for the +3 upgrade (against 0 armor)
Stop talking about the unit comps in that game. Grubby lost it after he pulled probes to defend the first attack by DDE. He was playing from behind after that.
behind and lost are not the same thing.
They're absolutely the same thing if your opponent presses their advantage and doesn't make mistakes of their own that let you back in the game.

PVP is a match where the underdog can win. He's got a puncher's chance like everyone else in PVP.
MC's PvP record disproves this. It's a matchup that can be dominated as much as any.
The thing is, its a match that is dominated by smart decision making and superior micro.. something that is generally lacking by most players because they practice build orders instead of understanding game sense..
You can tell this by all the rage about InControl's pylon vs TLO yesterday.. InControl said it best; "The opportunity presented itself, and I took it.".. Dont bash InControl because hes smart.
PvP is really about who can outsmart your opponent, and micro the best. Thats why MC almost always wins, and the only time in recent history we've seen him lose is when White-Ra showed him alittle creative warp prism play.
People just dont understand MC is not your average "practice 12 hours a day til my builds are smooth" player.. Hes really a strategic genius, and thats what wins him games. He takes the best positions and opportunities giving to him and it makes him look imbalanced because everything always falls into place.
Thats why hes the most likely SC2 "Bonjwa" and seems unbeatable while everyone else thinks the game is a rock-paper-scissors game..
The StarCraft 2 stream is currently inactive. Stay tuned.
hi what is this
maybe they had atleast the decency to turn the Stream off while their is no Internet Connection Lag at Dallas instead of Blasting us with Comercials for the xxxxth Time.

These unannounced half arsed commercial breaks. I don't see it in any other sport or from things I've watch e-sport. There's always a set time when there would be a commercial break like at, Half time, after a match, or when a big game ended. But with MLG a game ends and you can hear the commercial music coming on and DJWheat and JP are like "shit shit wrap it up don't get cut off".
Honestly it's right in the middle of analysis and other things, there is no set time for MLG it's whenever the drunk guy with the 'GO TO COMMERCIAL' button decides to pass out and hit it.
It annoys me too, in Europe we have set times for adverts, but this is my only experience of an American 'sporting event' apart from the Super Bowl this year and as far as I can tell they just shove adverts in wherever they can. Hell American Football and Baseball are basically designed to incorporate regular adverts, maybe this lag is intended so they can fit more adverts in.
It wouldn't be so bad if MLG was still sponsored by Old Spice. At least then we could be watching the 'I'm on a horse' advert and I wouldn't feel like I was wasting my time.
Part of me hopes that these connectivity issues are the result of a conspiracy.
A number of the top players banded together to sabotage the venue's internet in an effort to pressure Blizzard into releasing a LAN client. They tried to do it in the finals of a previous MLG tournament, but that wasn't enough. This time they'll sabotage the entire tournament.
