Octoshape isn't bad, its just bad for some people which is lame. But you have to understand that it still does its job perfectly fine for the majority that it works for.
You should read what octoshape is allowed to do on your computer when you install it xD.

1) that he found Octoshape a pain in the ass too 2) having said which, they've been able to do a lot more work on their implementation of the software since last season 3) if you want to pay for him to take a satellite truck to MLG so that he can have guaranteed upload bandwidth and get rid of Octoshape, you'd be more than welcome to!

I do remember him saying that they will be using a newer version of Octoshape. The one they were using last time was two years outdated apparently.

Octoshape uses some type of P2P, meaning to use it you'll be uploading. I've heard of peoples connection going to shit because of it, due to godawful bandwidth and whatnot. Supposedly it'll keep uploading even when not watching streams, but I have no idea if that's confirmed or just bullshit.
I haven't encountered any problems personally, Sweden's blessed with good upload and unlimited bandwidth but that's probably the main issue.
Then there's the whole "Can't run it at fucking all", which more often than not is because of adblock.
am a little confuse because i couldnt follow correctly the last mlg. the group stage need a 5th player in each group that comes from open bracket, but group stage starts today too. so after the open bracket finished, the last player must play the remains matches? it sounds too hard without a rest.
