4 isn't impossible, but with 0, thats why he has a there.

Pffft how can only 2 foreigners advance? People are either underestimating Jinro or Sen (maybe morrow I guess, but MC is just so strong :O)
GOGOGO SEN! TAIWAN PRIDE!
|
I believe all 4 have a chance to advanced, and we're guaranteed at least one no matter what...
I'm predicting
Sen 2-1 Jinro 2-1 TT1 2-1 and Morrow hopefully 2-1 if he can just play his 100% best he could win.
edit: my reason behind this is MC isn't an unstoppable force yet.
|
I can see Jinro > Anypro and Sen > MKP. The problem is MC vs. Morrow. I would like to see Morrow take down MC, but it's an uphill battle. Then again, Dimaga vs. Nestea was supposed to be an impossible battle. Just gotta believe! BELIEVE!!!

sen is from taiwan you missed out his flag lol
|
Foreigners Fighting!!! Good luck Morrow haha
|
Damn, I was looking for his second mistake. Instead of using the normal Taiwanese flag, Telcontar used the Olympic Taiwanese flag! I WAS LOOKING FOR THE SECOND MISTAKE! DAMN!
EDIT: Oh wait, are you just being politically correct and using the International flag, The Chinese Taipei flag, because this is an international event? Then where's the second trap! I must find it!
|
Morrow 100% must be practicing his 4/6gate defense :o I'm really excited to see how those matches are gonna turn out. I hope he wrecks MC's warpgate push if he tries it.
|
Love the small team and country icons! Great OP as always Telcontar! Thanks for doing this so often and so good!

You know I wish I had seen the maps before I liquidbet yesterday, cause the maps do make a difference.
MKP < Sen This could go either way, but if it goes to XNC MKP will open with 2 Rax and constant aggression, with Sen unable to recover which is most likely to happen. Sen needs to cutoff reinforcement retreat and counter attack like he did in the WC winners league and he should be fine.
Moonglade < TT1 Moonglade seems to be a bit out of touch lately as his match with July was unimpressive. I expect him to put a good fight but die to heavy gateway with a dash of phoenix support from TT1.
MC > Morrow To be honest I made a mistake in choosing MC instead Morrow, but I'll have to live with it since the maps in this series gives me a bit of goosebumps. Morrow is not Ciara from the TSL and arguably stands a good chance to take this series. Probability of 4-gate or 6-gate occurring is pretty high imo, Morrow just needs to proactively scout with lings to kill off the proxy pylons and have his army flank to prevent micro from becoming a factor. MC just needs to do what he does best is just kill him.
Jinro > Anypro TBH I could see this go either way or its really lopsided victory for Anypro due to Jinro's weakness to protoss. Crevasse will be an important map for Jinro, with drops and a clutch banshee to weaken Anypros probe line. If Shakuras is cross position then Jinro will be able to macro easier and should close out for the win. Otherwise if anypro forces a tie, then the set in metal will go to anypro with a 4-gate all-in.

Live report thread 10 hours before the event starts?
MC, Anypro, TT1 and Sen are my predictions. Although I'm cheering for Morrow, Jinro, Moonglade and Sen.

My predictions
MKP < Sen Moonglade < TT1 MC > Morrow Jinro < Anypro
|
MKP < Sen - MKP has been slumping hard lately it seems, and Sen's play looked very strong in the showmatch
Moonglade < TT1 - Purely basing this off showmatch performances
MC > Morrow - Don't see how Morrow can win against MC. Simple as that. He hasn't shown anything to indicate that he has a chance against MC's ridiculous PvZ.
Jinro < Anypro - Jinro seems to be slumping a bit lately as well. I hope he can get back on form soon, but for now I'll have to give Anypro the advantage.

i HOPE MarineKing Wins! I HopE!

^^;; At least wait until you've seen today's matches before shooting yourself.

Go all foreigners! TT1 vs Moonglade... well either are fine with me. But I really think Morrow will have something prepared for MC, and hopefully he'll be able to defend against a 6 gate that MC is known for.
