Are you those QQers that also said: "4 GSLs, 5 Terran finalists" bs too? I can totally see it.
Also for those bitching about MKP. Seriously stfu, stop derailing the thread and cry somewhere else because A: you don't know anything about the issue and what it means to the Koreans, and B: you are all bitching just because it is MKP and he once again knocked out one of your favorite foreign players with the style of play that all you noobs keep on harping about being "cheesy", "predictable", "one-dimensional", "simple" yet none of your idols seem to be able to beat. Yet you still keep on criticizing his play.

Still think dimaga's 10 pool against nestea was the best play in starcraft to date.

Are people watching the same game? Lets not even go to game 2 where Morrow looked like he completely gave up - in what way did Morrow completely outplay MC in the first game? I seriously don't get it, it seems to me every single time when a zerg player has more bases/better economy and loses, people automatically link that to "losing despite outplaying their opponent, something must be imba" regardless of anything else =/
To me the definition of outplaying is which player has been the one that has not only made less mistakes but also capitalized on their opponents mistakes. I could be wrong, but I honestly doubt MC made more mistakes than Morrow?

yah i take it back about MKP. i'm korean american actually and am ashamed i never even heard of dokdo
|
why has jinro given up on mech? ok, maybe i see why vs protoss, but he used to tear through most toss's with a mostly marauder composition army, it's like he's trying to play MKP's old style.

Jinro should watch how Bomber plays.

Yeah its not racist, it is probably also warranted, I dunno I don't know anything about this conflict. BUT the conflict is not what is important here, its is the fact that this is a political statement in a eSports broadcast. What if 88]iNcontrol was a neo-nazi and wrote some white supremacy bullshit? I am NOT saying that these two statements are the same in any other way than that they are political statements.
that is an awful analogy. i'd liken it more to kanye west's "george bush doesn't care about black people." the fact that we're discussing it and will likely remember it for as long as kanye west / MKP remain relevant means that it had the impact that it aimed to create.
it is nothing like "neo-nazi/white supremacy bullshit." please google a few news articles before saying terrible things like that again.

LOL i dont know about you guys but wearing shades in doors is annoying as f@#$.
and LOL at the people calling MKP (and Moon) racist. Please don't type words you don't even understand the meaning of.

Since people continue to bring up the topic of MKP, here's a short explanation.
It's much like UK trying to take rightful ownership of Hong Kong (fictional situation). Historically Hong Kong legitimately belongs to China.
It's the same story with Dokdo. Koreans have the historical proof, can back up their reasons & counter everyone of Japan's with historical document/facts.
The issue was brought up in World Championship as Japan recently announced they will be adding materials on their public school (elementary, junior high, etc) curriculum that Dokdo belongs to Japan. That's why MKP brought out that paper saying what it said, and its timing is quite irrelevant to the fact that World Championship is trying to help out Japan in time of disaster. (at least not on a same level)

wow. MC wanted to help jinro.... sad that it was so one sided

i dont like bringing balance up, but do you really think that a game where the toss gets completely outclassed is a good indicator?

Japan still denies they did anything wrong during World War II in their history books so I'm guessing that Korea is probably right on this one.

I also wanted to say just that. The guy has the ultimate timings for everything the toss has in store, plus the Raven play was genius.
But after today, i might add that Bomber might be the best Terran. winning 8games out of 10 versus White Ra is a feat. Itwas as they were in different weight categories....like a feather weight against an heavy weight champion...

While MKP's actions lacked the grace of: + Show Spoiler +
It is still interesting to see sports become a platform for political expression. I'm an American and in America, I understand their is a small distaste for athletes that express their politics overtly, unless they've really earned it i.e. Jim Brown, Muhammed Ali, Curt Schilling(I guess...) As a nation, I think we like to think that sports should transcend "petty" politics, I tend to disagree and it's nice to see a player express his political beliefs.

As someone who has undergrad background in Kinesiology, and because we also studied sports politics, sports economics, etc on top of the regular Kinesiology stuff, I can tell u that politics in sports is nothing new. IMO it is not wrong to have politics in sports.
No one can deny that economy plays a big part in sport. For one, sports wield millions, if not billions of dollars. With economy, comes politics. Simple as that.
With that said, it should be done in a tasteful manner that can be accepted by the public. Other than that, no one can really draw a line and say 'sports (sports figures) absolutely cannot cross this line'.

No I wont stfu. I don't give a damn what it means to Koreans (or the Japanese for that matter). It is ages old dispute that isn't going to be resolved by "raising awareness" or any other nonsense by a child abusing his access to a camera. I'm not one of the retards that jumped to the conclusion that he is a racist, I don't know where people got that idea. All I know that I won't want to be bothered with political propaganda during a fucking starcraft broadcast.

What did MKP do? I don't feel like searching in 150 pages... thank you
