HuK played pretty aggressively in at least games one and two against MVP. Or do you mean in a more general sense, besides just this tournament?

Huk's series against MVP was the exception, he lost those games because of small mistakes early on, he lost before the agression even started.

In general, yeah i think they are being too passive. If you look at Huk's PvZ for example, you see he even has trouble taking his natural a lot.

Ah okay. Yeah I agree with you that sitting back and playing passively will definitely cost them more games than they should be losing. Constant aggression, poking, and knowledge of the entire map will stop ninja expos from going up and keep opponents on the back foot. iNcontroL calls it Shark Mode, and it prevents your opponent from doing whatever the heck they want.

More importantly though, whats the point of going bio in PvT if you're not going to abuse the mobility you get? He would have been better off going tank heavy then, Anypro's army would have melted to that.

Why would you think, "Qft, she's really cute!" meant "Quit fucking trolling, she's really cute!"

This needs to die now.

Until the TOP foreigners play in the World Championships I'm not going to be surprised that the foreign representation is going to lose to the 3 GSL champions and two 2nd place finishers. I'm not a fan of Nada/Anypro/San but you can't really say they're horrible obviously. You can't blame some of our better players for wanting to play in MLG and actually make some money instead of representing the foreign e-Sports team in Korea against THE BEST PLAYERS IN THE WORLD. Maybe next year. GO DiMAGA!

He's been back for what, 3 weeks and has participated in the TSL and nothing more I believe. And his TSL loss was both surprising and not surprising.

I do play Terran.

Also huk didn't have any colossi... 3 of the same pushes in a row, and very predictable gateway builds.

So yes that works vs gateway builds.

Huk just builds sentries

I mean, not quite, but almost

Big maps make mech worse.

This is true, but you also can't stay in your base as MM and expect to win like that. Mech is far better in that case, but Bio-Mech is even better.

With the recent uprising in Sentry abuse, I'm pressed to say MMM is no longer the ideal build.

There is only 1 viable build and that's MMM. Biomech is the worst composition ever.
1) you got the immobility of the tanks
2) you miss the firepower of tanks when you have a critical mass.
3) tanks actually shoot on your marines and marauders

Mech is only good on small maps.

Do you guys actually understand why the terrans with the most "success" all play MMM? Do you really think the top terrans are too lazy to experiment with something else then MMM? The reason why every topterran is using MMM is because it's actually the only viable thing. Biomech, mech and bansheebuilds are good, they work, but they are worse then MMM.

This is most definitely false.

MMM is not an ideal late game composition. It really makes your matches harder than they should be, and it relies a lot on high micro, drops, and APM if you don't kill your opponent early. There's a reason why Protoss has been using sentries all game long, and it's because Terran players in general are not abusing their natural defender's advantage to negate forcefields.

Tanks and Thors do so well vs Protoss due to their insane firepower. Granted, you need about six tanks for them to be good, but it's no different than TvZ. Only thing you need to take into account is mass immortals, which can be stopped with Banshees or Mass Marines. (Keep in mind if you have so many immortals, there'll practically be no Colossi if you haven't been super-turtling the whole game.)

MMM is a great build and there's no taking that away. It'll always be a good unit composition, but for Jinro's style, who to be honest is really passive until mid-late game, I would not recommend it for him. Terran needs to get beyond this mobility obsession.

EDIT: Especially if you're not gonna use your mobility in the first place.

Well, some of the Korean players aren't really top either right now. MMA and Ryung are both arguably better than NaDa right now, LosirA is definitely someone who should be there over, say, anyPro, and Alicia is probably better than San.

I've been playing mass Air against Protoss since November last year and I have YET to hit a wall where I feel like there's nothing I can do to beat Protoss. You won't find this play MMMV. Going MMMV leaves you open to so many different approaches to be countered. Colossi, FF + Chargelot, HTs with Storm, higher upgrades etc.

If you play Air, you negate 2/3 of this. No FFs to worry about, Colossi and Chargelots are rendered useless and Storm is less potent with the recent KA nerf.

Marine/Raven/Banshee -> Viking/BC is going to be how TvP will end up. I promise.
