Not really, most people are saying how good July is playing. And Jinro did play badly that game. It wasn't close, ever. He seemed like he couldn't make up his mind on what to do. July just played a macro game and Jinro didn't keep up.

This just seemed like Jinro played below standards.... mutas did way too much damage, letting zerglings into his base, late siege tanks.. o_0 He was greedy because July was greedy. However, he got surprised by mutas and then failed to prepare for incoming July all-in. Jinro should not have been wasted on July, nor HuK/mOOnGLaDe, especially when Dimaga had a good chance. Much rather have HuK/mOOnGLaDe all-in MVP/NesTea than to risk wasting them on the best all-in player ever.
That was an all-in? Is "all-in" the new word for attack?

July's play is not nearly as risky as a Zerg trying to drone up untill the last moment, July's style is just a lot more agressive.

I think the World team believed July would be beaten by White-Ra/TT1.

It does seem like Team world spit out their best in Day 1 and Korea saved their heavy hitters for Day 2. Sen was probably the world team's best player. TT1 did well too, although it seems like nada wasn't playing up to scratch in their game. White-ra also doing a successful snipe, but other than that, Korea crushing through.
I feel like World Team could have a MUCH better line up, but it is what it is, I guess.

Nah, Huk was def worse than Moonglade. Moonglade did a risky thing in a risky matchup. Huk on the other hand made too many mistakes with unit control. Losing so many sentries... seriously?

Most Zerg players will play very risky to get an economic advantage and crush their opponent in the mid to lategame, and although thats also a form of reactive play I prefer July's style that focusses on finding weakness in the opponent's play and reacting to that. His agressive builds are also a lot more refined then we see from most players.
Just that it's the solidest zerg play I've seen in a while or ever in SC2. never saw zerg dominating a game like July is right now, 2 games in a row.

Jesus Christ people. This is an international friendly. Nobody is playing 100% for fear of revealing too much when they actually play for money - Huk and Jinro included... did nobody see them play 2v2 as zerg last night??
I wouldn't take this showmatch too seriously guys. They are meant to be entertaining as a prelude to the real tournament tomorrow.

July is picking up the skill for SC2 fast, and he is the strongest player in the GSl when it comes to mindgames. His opponents can't predict his play and start to overthink everything. This gives him a advantage from the start.
God of war, pulling all the tricks!

For me, July is the best Zerg atm. Even above Nestea. There is no way that Dimaga can take him down

Exactly. Moonglade, Jinro, White Ra all played very solid. July just played better. People need to stop talking shit about every person that loses an SC2 game.

The three losses against July were due to the World team players not playing specifically to counter July's style. The losses looked worse than they were, I guess.

Yeah exactly, all-in being overused by everyone, even by the casters themselves ;p
