Good job by the World Allstars. At least they scared Korea
A man once asked me if I saw the glass half empty or half full. I turned and said, "Neither. I see a glass twice as big as it should be."

Huk really dropped the ball on this one. He needed to get that win vs July. Terran vs Zerg against a guy like July is not ideal. Neither are ZvZ's...

Huk really needed to get that win PvZ was the best chance to take July out.

To play devil's advocate, Fnatic did play the weaker line up on day 1. But yea, Liquid is slumping, and White-Ra is MVP

...Why is every loss include a foreigner playing "awful"? July actually has been playing well these past few games. His timings and game sense are very spot. These decisions are leading to them making mistakes. Yes his builds are somewhat risky, but I like that its not defensive and puts pressure on the opponents.

b/c foreign fans would rather believe their fav. foreign players lost either to gimmicky play or due to playing bad, rather than giving credit to good play to opposing korean players. yeah i know..... -_-^

dimaga is being so overrated in this thread, he's good and has a chance but lol, "let's put in dimaga to beat nestea"

lets be realistic

Yeah, i mean it's not like Nestea EVER looses to players from Europe ... oh wait.

Damn you guys are so quick to go yay jinro to wtf jinro lol. don't blame him, july just played better.

TLers are quick to blame anyone who didn't win one game.

to be fair jinro didnt just lose that, he got totally inexplicably raped. barely an engagement and jinro played greedy and he was outproduced so much? seems weird.
but people are stupid for calling jinro bad/overrated so easily i agree.

I don't know why people keep acting so surprised at July's performance. Most Zerg players will play very risky to get an economic advantage and crush their opponent in the mid to lategame, and although thats also a form of reactive play I prefer July's style that focusses on finding weakness in the opponent's play and reacting to that. His agressive builds are also a lot more refined then we see from most players.

Throwing in crazy shit every once in a while (or more than once in a while as in July's case) is what the game theory says you should do.

ahahaha there"s a 1 in 10 chance of Dimaga beating July and then it"s gonna be Nestea. I really hope Dimaga gets atleast 1 win , save some face.

plus TeamLiquid on an Epic Slump . Tyler is the only saving Grace.

July will finish them off then lets hope there wont be 'does korean are better' arg in a while

and also, in the gsl finals it was just MC who made July look bad. July is a really good zerg, gsl finalist...

Not sure what terran can do vZ on that map. Huge distances and a wide choke that you're forced to wall. Leaves the zerg free to drone up. Still a wp game from July.

That's called preparing for the map.

Terrans aren't doing bad on this map. Jinro just played very sloppy constantly losing scvs he shouldn't have lost.

My predictions if they come true.

Dimaga vs July: Most likely be a build order loss for July opting banelings vs Roach builds
Dimaga vs MVP: Super early baneling aggression to win
Dimaga vs Nestea: Banelings and Nydus??? Heck I'd even throw a 6 pool in there.

he don't play like this nowadays watch

July's style is awesome in Team tournaments because you can never predict what he's going to do.
Lee Jae Dong proved that a focus on mechanics and execution could solve problems in the StarCraft game strategy.

I really felt that the good works of SEn, TT1, and whitera have been undone by the rest of the foreign team. July is good, but he is definitely not unbeatable. What a shame, really.

sen and TT1 had easier opponents, who didnt really seem to play their best.

They were playing against TT1, nothing against the man, but c'mon, he is no HuK or Idra.
