He was greedy because July was greedy. However, he got surprised by mutas and then failed to prepare for incoming July all-in.

Jinro should not have been wasted on July, nor HuK/mOOnGLaDe, especially when Dimaga had a good chance. Much rather have HuK/mOOnGLaDe all-in MVP/NesTea than to risk wasting them on the best all-in player ever.

That was an all-in? Is "all-in" the new word for attack?

Best response ever. Jesus, people need to stop describing everything using the same hyperbole. Not every attack is an "all in" or a "timing attack," not every amount of banelings is "so many banelings," not every force field cast is "beautiful force fields."

Yeah exactly, all-in being overused by everyone, even by the casters themselves ;p

As TotalBiscuit said one day: "It's not an all-in until the all movable units have been sent to attack."

I wouldn't take this showmatch too seriously guys. They are meant to be entertaining as a prelude to the real tournament tomorrow.

That's a load of rubbish. The Liquid players don't go in there saying "hey lets play 80% even though this means so much more to the world team than the Korean team". Everyone here is playing to win. If it was supposed to be entertaining, MC wouldn't death 4 gate our tosses.

I'm sure u guys all agree that July's game decision has been just incredible.

But aside from that, I think his micro was just spot on. Never saw sharper micro in SC2.
Come get some

Apparently you can all in with a worker advantage and off 4 bases.... yeaaa

It's pretty well known that if a zerg attacks before 200/200 it's an all-in. Didn't you get the memo?

Team Korea just letting some of the lower players get some game time in and suddenly people think Korea isn't going to just rolfstomp foreigners in the end.

wow now that world team is behind, we finally get someone on teamliquid who admits this. when foreigners were up, everyone talking about how serious the players are, damage to korean pride, etc etc etc. it's a fucking exhibition.

I and a couple others have been mentioning that it's supposed to be a friendly showmatch pretty much all today and yesterday

Nah, Huk was def worse than Moonglade. Moonglade did a risky thing in a risky matchup. Huk on the other hand made too many mistakes with unit control. Losing so many sentries... seriously?

He lost like 3-4?
It was more his build was not ideal.
4Gate into 3Gate Forge expand with cancelled Nexus.

July takes Gold and just rofls his way to victory with banelings vs stalkers.

Saying this only when World Team is down to their last player? That's one lame apologist stance if I ever seen one.

I have to agree. The most annoying thing since SC2 came along is the overuse of all-in and cheese. You can attack att 7min+ having your nat up and people cry cheese.

On the one hand July is my favourite player on the Korean team, so it's nice to see him tearing it up, but this collapse from the world team is a huge disappointment. I think it goes without saying that Artosis wasn't the only one who wanted to see this end up 8-7, one way or another.

Well, DIMAGA FIGHTINGGGGG
