Just because world team is playing well today and winning fair and square doesn't make TSL any better. TSL still has lag issues and the shadow doesn't disappear because world team is playing well in an offline tournament.
dude your acting like it doesnt lag for a EU player if he meets a korean in an online torunament...plz the lag thing is ridiculous
No. You are very uninformed. The KR-NA lag is much worse than the EU-NA lag. Stop talking about things that you're not informed about. Go read Jinro's topic on the matter and get informed. Also read other posts in the topic. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=205366

Were you around during the first 3-4 years of BW, when Giyom won an OSL? Were you around when Legionnaire AK'd an entire Korean team during the rise of Korean dominance? Do you know that SC2 is not that big in Korea either? Do you realize that it hasn't even been a year since the beta?
Koreans win because they practice harder and are more disciplined than most foreigners. Qxc said it best: how can anyone expect to win if he/she practices half as much as the other guy? I don't care how talented you are - unless the game is fundamentally flawed with a low skill ceiling, but that's a different discussion.

Odds are they would have had to be in korea over the weekend when the TSL was on, plus they would be jet-lagged, etc for the matches in korea and obviously not at their best.

Group drawings for the actual World Championship after this.

GSTLs are so much more exciting than GSL itself.

Are the VODs free like the HQ Stream? Due to school I couldn't watch a single game;(

yeah, as painful it is to watch NaDa losing, I'm not sure TT1's build wouldve done so bad against other builds. It was a late 6 gate type of thing with +1, which would've been very powerful against rax-FE builds. Basically, TT1 used a build that would counter nada's preferenced style which is banshee play, and the build also would've done fine against bio play. In the end, TT1's build ended up hard countering nada's all-in, but regardless I think it was a job well done by TT1.

MC will crush everyone tomorrow. Sorry

He went up that ramp several times and saw nothing but marines even thou nada had taken gas. Also the timing of the cannons were perfect. TT1 is just too good to lose to gimmick build. Nada should had done FE build. Cloaked Banshee is also the BO counter to Mass Gateway. Really good job to TT1 making cannons to ward that off.

Awesome play by the Fnatic guys.

This... How the fuck is getting a forge and cannons "blind countering" banshees? It's just another option rather than getting a fast obs out. Nobody would say he "blind countered" banshees if he went 2 gate->nexus->robo, but somehow getting a forge for upgrades he wants anyway and dealing with banshees by getting cannons is a blind counter.

Yeah. Lag happened in the TSL. Lag didn't happen here. All these sarcastic lag jokes make me think that tons of people actually (and ignorantly) believe that lag wasn't a factor in the TSL. It's so incredibly stupid. That is because so many were saying the results were only because of the lag but anyway I'm glad the world team is owning. They won't send out MC till the end I would think because it is a showmatch and the most important thing is to have good games and so far they were really entertaining.
