There were some videos a while back of all three speaking some English. Wouldn't surprise me if they know enough to at least follow the flow of what Artosis is saying.

Lee Hyun Joo speaking English. Her speaking of English isn't the greatest but keep in mind understanding a language is MUCH easier than speaking it.

Come on guys, I don't see it that weird that TT1 can beat Nada in a Bo1, its ONE game where a single misclick or banshee mismicro can lose you it. TT1 played better, and won. It happens. Flash loses sometimes too :p

And TT1 train a lot more than NaDa, I find it totally normal.

Oh COME ON. How do you even know that? -_-

The Foreigners have the perfect players left to beat MC, MVP and Nestea. I think DIMAGA, White-Ra, Jinro and HuK can do it. Obviously it will be very difficult though.
Lee Jae Dong proved that a focus on mechanics and execution could solve problems in the StarCraft game strategy.

Tonight has simply been some of the best starcraft I have seen in a long time. There have been better games on better days. But I cannot remember a day were so many excellent games took place back to back like what just happened.

The Koreans still have their 3 best players left so tomorrow could end up a lot different. Nestea, MVP, and MC are total bosses and will not be easy to stop.

I don't see why people are still considering MVP to be all that impressive, considering how he has been playing as of late. Lag didn't drop him down to code A, so that excuse isn't valid there.

People are stuck in the mindset of 10 years that Koreans owned everybody else, it will take some time for everyone to adjust to the New SC2 World Order hehe...

1. There was lag in TSL and it had effect on the games.

2. World team played well today and won fair and square.

Just because world team is playing well today and winning fair and square doesn't make TSL any better. TSL still has lag issues and the shadow doesn't disappear because world team is playing well in an offline tournament.

There were a lot of people in the thread saying there's no way foreigners can beat Koreans and lag was the only reason. However, it's pretty clear that big deciding factor is who actually practices / prepares more and plays better in the game.

I'm happy today's results showed that. You don't think if Anypro 4-0's the World team that you and many others would be posting "see what happens when theres no lag!?!?!?!" and not considering that it's possible for top players to drop games?

Nobody has a perfect viewpoint.

PS - Nada banshee control was better vs TLO :p

oh that is true. I didn't know people were saying that lol. But Idra/Jinro/Huk/Sen already showed us that foreigners could beat them so i dunno.
I may not be the best player right now but I think I can beat any 'best' players. I'll beat all the best players and become the best player. Watch me. - Jju

Why people are cheering for Korea instead of the world team is beyond me.

Because not everyone picks favourites based on skin colour. Koreans are the best and most entertaining players, so I want to see them dominate.

Um, but if the World wins, and they do so in an entertaining fashion, won't that defeat the purpose of cheering for the Korean team? In other words, you just want to watch good starcraft, in which case you're essentially trolling by cheering for Koreans on TL, 'cause right now it's 2-2 and Sen's games were as interesting as San's play, and more interesting than Anypro and MKP.

Uhhh... What? There isn't any 'purpose' in cheering for Koreans, it won't do anything. I cheer for them because I think they will provide better and more entertaining games. I don't see how it's trolling to defend my opinions when someone says there's no reason I should support players who I consider better. I want to watch good games, and the Korean players are better at providing them, so I cheer for them. And yes, Anypro and MKP didn't show the best games, but they aren't the best or most entertaining Korean players, I wasn't expecting them to dominate. San, on the other hand, played an amazing game (freaking Carriers!), and tomorrow we're going to see the best of the best play.

I cheer for them because I think they're good and provide good games too. Koreans are less entertaining? Go watch IMMvp V.S. SlayerSMMA in GSTL2 Finals. That is the best TvT game ever and it's played by 2 Korean players.

Rather, I find non-Korean players to follow a single trend and not do anything much special which is why I favour Korean players. But it seems like this league is interesting and changing my opinions of non-Korean players.

I think you are basically putting down what sen and TT1 have accomplished. It IS just one game but even in a best of 3, winning the first game is pretty huge. From the way they played it could easily go into a win for a best of 3.

I don't think I put down Sen or TT1 at all, I think they played better and won. I even said that lol.

Wouldn't be surprising for journalists to learn English. They aren't American after all. I have seen a lot of Russian journalists/comedians speaking almost perfect English. Not surprising at all.
