Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied. Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't. |
Great list of players. Hope vVv wasn't over looked. I think we have some ViBE's and dde's of our own but all in all 50 players is hard to get a list especially with the massive amount of skilled players in the world.
Thanks for posting the reasons why you picked players Xeris, but you shouldn't have to "explain" your reasoning.. anyone that is that upset about it is salty about not being on the list is probably missing the point that not one player on that list is "bad". Kudos for catering to the community (=

Someone who knows they're not gonna go far should be allowed to sell their spot to Dimaga.
|
so for top foreign players like dimaga
he is gonna have to win a 1024 man single elimination tournament to get in nasl ever?
at least my favorite player vibe will be featured, such a beast.
|
Still no spot for dimaga???
|
So that's why Kas wasn't invited? Fair enough, solve your problems with your VISA and see you on season 2 Kas!
|
Guys, read the big white box above. Dimaga applied to late and therefore I can understand that he`s not invited. You have to have some rules and players should respect them.
I hope Kas and Dimaga can qualify for one of the next seasons as they are both arguably top10 foreigners.
|
Bad for DIMAGA since he had a huge win today, could have gone far in this

if I'm not mistaken didn't they extend the deadline for certain korean players.

No, the Koreans just didn't post the videos on TL.

Artosis isn't even the same race as in beta...
|
without dimaga this is not a fully respectable tournament

Neither is morrow, changing race =/= why you shouldn't be accepted

Quite pissed that DeMuslim was denied considering some other players in the tournement, from your explanation of why he wasn't picked he would of had a better chance doing his application video in a pitch black room.
It's put me off buying a premium ticket for sure, was looking forward to seeing some UK representation in the tournement, ah well, here's hoping for season 2.

Not only does the NASL miss out on great players with DeMusliM and DIMAGA, but they also miss out fantastic personalities. Pity. And the videos were supposed to only be necessary for those not being invited - so did you really not invite a DIMAGA? Otherwise this reasoning is bullshit.
Ah well, still a great bunch of players there, but I really am worried about the league. Even the homepage is quite terribly done to be frank. Let's hope that their policy of doing everything will volunteers doesn't fall on their head.
|
I like the list, considering the disclaimer at the top! Great work NASL and look forward to watching the matches!
However, I do hope that Dimaga and Kas get in through the qualifiers as well as some of the new stars like Thorzain and Mondragon (I know.. not new, just new in SC2).

I really wish Minigun was chosen over CrunCher, but I guess that will work too.
I'm SOOOOO hyped for this, ROOT FIGHTIIIING!

Morrow is proven with both far far more than Artosis with both races. All i remember from Artosis in SC2 is he disconnected in a tournament and whined so much that he should have been given a win that he was temp banned.

People lose games, it's not a big surprise. But we invite Cruncher just because there was some "BM" between them? Thats ridiculous. There are other way more qualified people that should have been invited instead of CRUNCHER. I don't even see the big deal with him anyways. He won game 1 convincingly, got smashed in game 2, and won game 3 because IdrA underestimated him.
I am also laughing hard that POKEBUNNY didn't get invited LOL. Especially after his post about not inviting any koreans (so that he could get in). Good mix, I like it, a good share of Koreans and Europeans. To the people bitching about this being the "North American Star League" the name means nothing, it just means the tournament is based in North America. Nothing more. I guess you didn't read that I said I never expected to get in, koreans or no koreans. I still stand by my point. I made the entire argument after the players were told whether or not they got in.
Overall player list is meh. Last 10 invites made me a bit sad but at least they didn't overkill on Koreans. Either way, TSL has made me think that its not really a big deal anyway.

Anyone who hasnt watched july's NASL vid should watch it now,lol so funny
