But then again, people don't understand hehe ;P Idra had 3rd base coming up and that engagement was just a terrible decision. He still had a change to win the game if he wouldn't have attacked there. Basically Idra just trashed everything.

Maybe what zerg was missing was not bigger maps but more open maps. Looking forward to see if zergs find a counter.

Either way, close spawns on Shakuras like that is a near unwinnable game, unless you have a MASSIVE econ advantage which Idra most certainly did not have.

If your control is very good you can delay it, and you might go that road if you have your 4th coming up. Idra's 3rd was delayed he did not even had that running yet i think. It didnt matter if he lost there trying to kill him off before canons and critical ammount of colossi hit or with corruptors vs a fortified P position. I guess idra thought this way he has liek 30% chance to win, the other way close to 0

Maybe he thought Squirtle would have only one Collossus by the time. Absolutely false. Squirtle would have destroyed his main by abusing that back way. Ive seen Incontrol do it over and over on his stream. Its pretty rough for Zerg. IdrA was already behind after his roach bust got scouted. Squirtles army was already pretty scary too. If you dont believe me at least trust what TLO has to say. He summed it up perfectly.

Idra has to admit either, Moon is better than him, or Moon plays differently in ZvP that allows him to beat most protoss (squirtle, socke) easily. lol, what has moon done in the GSL? That's a much better barometer of skill. What you're implying is beyond silly.

I think, if he retreated after all those FFs went up, waited a round of reinforcements and attacked against maybe just half the FFs (and maybe even corruptors) he could had have a better chance!

Well i think the last attack from idra was OK, if that third bases goes up and squirtle puts cannons there the game is over too - he didnt have a spire down? did he? so trying to engage there was probably the best thing to do - i wonder what people have said if idra just didnt engange there and died like 10 minutes later. What Idra did really poorly is not scout that squirtle is breaking his rocks - even if a phenix killed his spotter overlord thats the most important thing to replace. That scouting point was a non-issue. He had NO chance at the point in the game. He could have seen the rocks get broken and it wouldn't have mattered. Squirtle's army size and composition were going to wreck what Idra had. It wasn't a scouting issue, he was incredibly behind after the roach rush.
