hm I doubt Hasuobs stands much of a chance vs Beastyqt, who is a beast. Mana vs Kas on the other hand is something I'm not comfortable to predict.

Kas vs Mana is gonna be sick. i think if it goes to ace Kas should win pretty convincingly

Bly and Beasty are both top players and regular do well in the assorted weekly cups, I know nothing about Krolu though.

Krolu is ~3200 skilled Masters Protoss I think... Not very good, but not super bad either

Strelok dies to a very nicely executed 3gate + proxy stargate while going 1rax marauder expand.
I guess that means the most interesting match up will be played at least =)

That was a beautiful, beautiful cheese. Completely hard countered Strelok's play, true, but the pylon to allow the void rays to engage while fully charged was a nice touch.

I don't know if I've ever watched anything on Justin.tv without experience some sort of technical issue. I love that it provides viewers with an option on setting and what not, but I really cannot bring myself to liking them. A real shame it cut off at such a pivotal moment. :/

Just showed up but the results look awesome. 1-1 in ace match with cross positions on LT. This could be good. Hoping for Kas to pull it out since I always root for the underdog when i'm not a major fan of either.

Feels like both of Kas's attacks have been much less effective than they should have been.
Against this many marines though there is little morrow can do, tho.

Gratz to Empire. Kas beats Morrow 2-1 in the ace match after cross positions on LT = tank drops into marine+tank evelator into a lot of fucking marines just running over everything.

Well first of all, I don't see any reference to GCPL on pinnaclesports.com
Secondly, some of our matches are broadcast from replays due to differing time zones of teams and players all around the World (which was already covered on a different GCPL thread).
We do all we can to ensure teams and players who have matches done ahead of time do not leak the results of those matches, but of course everyone has their own motivations, and money is usually high on the list, so if you're making 3rd party wagers on GCPL games, know that there's a real risk of corruption due to the replay factor, and there's no way around it. We do all we can to police against the early release of replays from teams that are forced to play ahead of time, but at the end of the day, just be wise and don't make those types of wagers. It's just not smart.

Well i did bet on it and the time i bet was 5th february 6:24:33 AM (Pacific) and odds for mouz were 4.870. I really couldnt believe it. Well i thought there might have been some kinda mistake and bet on it happily. And i think this is exactly what pinnacle would have wanted. But yeah limit was only 100 eur but still this thing stinks and bad. Nothing to take away from Empire, they are a good team, but odds like those...
So i just would like to know exact time when games were actually played to make myself clear i wasnt fucked over. I think i saw replay date was like 4th US time in stream for some of the replays.
And honestly I dont think pinnacle should allow betting games that already have been played. Since it was open until the start of the stream i suppose. I remember former XLbet made a bet avi for a replay and they immediately cancelled it and addressed it via email that they have done wrong.

wow that is pretty.. interesting. these games were played in advance. they were played on or before saturday yes. pretty shady if the 5.0 is true. i'll ask the mouz sc2 manager to come in and share the exact times they played at.
they probably shouldn't put odds up for matches not played live.

First they demanded a link to proof that the games were actually replays. And they even stated their source for this cup was gosugamers.net not gosucoaching.com (that might have been the reason why OCsurfer didn't know about bets). I corrected them though im not sure if these two are part of same orga.
So I provided them with some screens from vods and link to vod itself. Also I explained why the games were replays (time difference ect.)
Now I got a very polite response and they returned my cash from mouz vs empire bets and the wager for mouz vs Liquid seems to be offline.
