well at least we can all try if PDD can stop queen attacks lolololol
I don't think I've ever wished my opponent good luck prior to a game. When I play, I play to win. I hope every opponent I ever have is cursed with fucking terrible luck. I hope they're stuck playing underneath a stepladder with a black cat in attendance a

Didn't IdrA say that Meta cross positions is insta-win for Zerg though? Also Blistering Sands when the rocks are down seems very hard to win as a Terran as well, but yeah the maps are really poor. I'm sure it's going to get fixed and when the time comes Zergs are going to dominate, because they are the most used to being in a bad spot.

no, idra said something like he would win easily against x if they got cross instead of close, where he lost.

You should have seen Moon yesterday. He got everything his way and still managed to lose

Haha. I'm actually a pretty big Moon fan. Despite losing, he seems to have improved greatly since his GSL 3 appearance and he probably still doesn't play SC2 full-time. Looking forward to seeing how good he gets.

Yeah he has the talent and he was pretty close to beating Hongun.

Cross positions seems to be really good for zerg, but close positions in code S went 11-4 in favor of terran with 1 loss being jinro trying to 2base against nex.drug and another being nada's cute thor shit vs idra. Metal seems to be at least 70%+ (random number don't rape me) determined by starting positions. It's a bad TvZ map.

Idra said: Close autolose, cross autowin. Not completely true, but its not quite a given as Jungle vs Zerran.

Blistering, in the GSL anyway, tends to favor whoever rushes better.

PDD eats Queen attack, but with 3+ queens out the energy gets eaten up pretty decently + with transfuses you could survive the PDD, FD woulda still been fine, + mutas were coming.

What's with these stupid comments? FD and Maka are probably both better than most (if not all) Code A players. What exactly is the "standard" for Code S?

not to make completely awful builds which is countered to gg.

I think Maka was just trying to do something that could have been quite strong but ended up being countered perfectly. I don't see people giving Boxer flak for losing to Nestea because Nestea barely blocked him from landing his barracks. Getting a build perfectly countered in 1 game =/= not code S material.

Maka's build actually looks like it would work if you get the timing right. You could kill all the queens with the Banshees and deny any evo chamber/spire from going down or just straight up kill the drones.

Ranged units who also have a melee attack animation, such as a Queen or Hydralisk will not trigger Point Defense Laser when using the alternate animation.

Hydralisk has a melee attack animation?? Sounds like BS, but Blizzard is known for BS.

but you know, he could build more turrets, vikings marines bunkers, not to lose the first few mutas.
Give thanks and praise!

I was under the impression that the PDD works on any ranged attack that actually shows a projectile being shot. So, it wouldn't work on marines, immortals, etc. but would work on hydras and queens.
