Look at MLG Dallas and compare the 3-4 sets of interview by various non-official organizations, 2-3 photostreams by users, tons of forum posts, all ways of fans reporting back their thoughts and experiences after each day. Here there seems no connection between community and event. I assume there is with goodgame.ru and the russian scene. Tbh I think it's 90% the location of the event....I mean, just think back to IEM cologne, this was one hell of an event, imo even more exciting than all of the MLGs, but maybe it just felt that way because it was the first major tournament. Regardless, the coverage was extraordinary, simply because so many Germans came and postet stuff. | ||
