I'm not interested in watching every single matchup but I am interested in the results, and the only way that I've found of finding out is to skip around in the individual games and hope the caster gets around to mentioning what the score is (which is not always the case at all). That or hoping someone mentions the results in this thread.
I guess it'll help your hits on youtube, but damn is it inconvenient. There's just too much stuff to watch, but I really like keeping up with teamleagues.
I totally agree - As Bo7 series are concluded, I'll be updating annontation on the tournament home page that I currently have setup on my channel so its easy to see what the current standings are.

I drafted a quick Liquipedia page that has the vods and the format (so far) linked in a pretty straightforward way (it doesn't look like much yet but I'll tidy it up later). Please keep (or help me keep) this up-to-date (you can do it yourself too, it's pretty easy to do) and add this to the OP. Cheers.
edit 2: updating now with the vods from post above ^
Really appreciated this; plus the post above you with the direct links; this had the potential to be a really kick ass tournament with a lot of attention and hype; it's a shame the promo/updates weren't executed properly;

Trying to line up multiple clan wars at the same time in one tournament across realms was more diffucult then I thought it would be. The tournament is already scheduled to take place over four weeks and that was the longest I could hold my tournament license from Blizzard. I will be casting some of the 2v2s today in a little bit so you can check it out on the livestream. There will be some technical stuff as well as I will be preping the cast for a VoD
Crota plz Update the OP with spoiler-tagged results and links to the VODs, make it clearer that here are Top foreigner Clans Fighting each other including Team Liquid and Korean Clan Prime, I think many users don't take notice of this because they don't even realize what this event is and how awesome it is because they just skip through the topic names and/or OP.
As it is right now you can't really get an idea of what this is all about without reading everything carefully. The thread title "1st Machinima Realm Invitational-EG/TL/ROOT/PRIME" is not standing out in any way and easily overlooked. I'm sure a lot of users only read "1st Machinima Realm something blah" and move on with their eyes because it really sounds like one of those many little tournaments without pro-line up.
Of course this is only a theory of mine, but there might be truth to it.

Yup, most people (including me) are not bothered to watch a whole youtube video to find out what this is about. So updating the OP at least with links to the vids and with the complete linup (all player names and matches) could help somewhat. Also this thread should be updated everytime a new video comes out and if possible dates for the next video releases should be given. That way one might create at least some hype, as this is somewhat difficult with this youtube format.

I hope this is not a spoiler on who won, Mr. enthusiastic EG Member
To get more views include all vods in the op (or include the wiki article and hopefully I or other people will keep that article up to date) so that people can get to the matches + vods in an easy fashion. Like Odo echoed: people don't wanna watch some video to find out (though I like the idea).

Crota didn't make the thread, so he can't update it. I contacted RootEdwards a couple of days ago through PM, but he hasn't responded. Do you think it might be worthwhile for Crota to make a completely new thread?

Yeah, new OP that creates more hype would be the thing to do to get more viewers. Make sure that you can see names of top players in bold as soon as you open the thread
I should be uploading 3-5 games tonight depending on how many I can encode and upload. Its over 2 Gigs of information to upload so that always takes a while.
