What do you guys think of using Match Point (http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=180223) as a map for the tournament? I want to start using iCCup maps in the tournaments that I'll be hosting because I personally believe they are much better than quite a few ladder maps.

I actually just added the poll on the SCM thread over at http://starcraftmecca.net/forum/index.php?topic=16.0 to see what we should do in the future so if you're participating please make a vote

Oh wow, this is on the 8th? I thought it would be on the 31st or the 1st with "New Years" in the title. I thought I wouldn't be able to make it, but I guess I can.
Does the node have some table space for me to set up my laptop?

You wouldn't be able to use your laptop because they don't allow outside computers to be connected to their network. Oh and I've added the SC2ranks link on the main post as well.

If my 3G is fast enough in the area, it's possible you can play with my phone's 3G, as I have a program which allows it. I actually played a ladder match while going through the rockies in a good patch of coverage, no lag! ^^

I'm amazed 3G can do that, I didn't even think 4G was fast enough.

SC2 doesn't realy require a ton of data once its installed. Think of the size of a replay.

It would only work with one, as it needs a cord.
|
Ahhh well that'd be cool if it worked regardless. Only a few days left until the tournament guys, get your game faces on!

24/48 registrations so far, we might have to make some adjustments to the prize pool depending on how this goes ... but we still have a week so we can hope for the best. Get the word out guys!

I didn't see this on the FAQ so yeah.
Will there be map vetoes?
|
Anyone coming from edmington alberta? I have someone who wants to make the trek down but he has no car ;(
|
Ahhh good question, it'll be one map veto per person for each round except for the finals where each map will be used.
