Haha, me too. Now in retrospect I actually think it's cool but man, was it ever a pain in the ass to learn. Also, I was never good at translating. The commentating is really good. Socke and Hasu obviously know a lot about the game and what's very impressive is how well they can do in English as well. (TaKe as well, obviously)

(TaKe as well, obviously) It's not so much that they know a second language...it's that they have the balls to commentate in it. That takes a completely different level of understanding. They need to know every slang phrase regarding the game...I really can't imagine casting a tournament in my 2nd language; I'd feel like a fool. Serious props.

If it's the first, then mad props too you, but this is of course not common in germany, there are not many people who can have a conversation in 4 different languages here. If it's the second, that's obviously true, that's normal for a Gymnasiast in germany. But it is still misleading, since just listing all the languages I have learned at some point for some time(that would be 5+german) barely tells anything, because I sure as hell cannot have a conversation in czech or latin ![]() Don't feel too bad americans, besides english, most people don't know another foreign language on a decent level either. English fluent (If i'm not drunk like atm =D ), french.. well not that good, spanish almost fluent (still learning actually :D )
