theStc was the first guy how showed up with marine micro vs banelings, too bad he had to enroll in the army :| stupid law in korea for conscripting
Look at north korea and try to blame them afterwards.

From what I understand he has to be highly ranked on ladder so that he can qualify to play against the bottom half the A-class in a qualifier to the next GSL, where depending on results he could secure A-class for himself or even S-class.

Only 32 guaranteed spots for Code A. 32 spots will be open through qualifiers.
I'm still confused. If I remember correctly, Code A will have 64 players. According to the calendar, the 2011 GSL A-Class Season 1 will be held on 01/03/2011. So when will the last opened 32 spots be determined? Seems not possible during the rest of this month.

I'd assume GOM will just run offline qualifiers for the 32 non-guaranteed spots.

Qualifiers for previous GSL took place over 2 days just prior to the tournament.
Maybe I can help this discussion out a bit. (I could be wrong though)
After Code S and Code A's, for people who wish to join the GSL but did not make it to at least CODE A... Then I think(Hence the I THINK, please don't flame), if players wish to enter the GSL they must ladder on the Korean server and be in the top 10? 12? something like that.
Following the end of a GSL tournament, players that are in the bottom 8 of CODE S will play the top 8 of CODE A's and the bottom of CODE A will play the top ranking ladder players.
