Or will it be 6games with a single game. That would be disappointing.

Are players able to join in the GSL if they're not Code A or Code S and if not, for how long ? If I was HuK right now, I'd like to know what I'm staying in Korea for, I mean is there anything expect ?

On another note, am I the only one who thinks Ret will crush this field?

They are not, the first 3 seasons of the GSL were "open" the next seasons will include the Code S players and some of the Code A players, for HuK I dunno, but Code A will battle with Code S holders for that title and the rest will take on Code A players to get a spot on future GSLs and other tournaments.

How this will change considering this information was revealed at a point when there were supposed to be 64 players in Code A, I do not know. But there will be opportunity throughout the year for players to advance and challenge their way into Codes S and A.

Same thing will happen with Code A & Code S. But, as with a lot of this right now, details are a tad sketchy. So if memory serves me right, the "ladder" tournaments and the GSL were separate. The bottom half of the Code A tournament would come from the same kind of qualifying tournament that the current pre-season has been using, or possibly some other kind of open qualifier system. Players who won in a Code A ro64 (or made it through to the second round if they do group play) would automatically keep Code A for the next season, while the rest would be bumped down. I don't think that Gom has actually announced this yet, but it's been the collective conclusion of previous threads on the topic, and it's pretty much the only system that makes sense given that Gom are not stupid and realize that (a) foreigners = money, and (b) ladder play =\= tournament play. Edit: TheLight wrote: The remaining 32 players will be from the ladder rankings. This is a common misconception, but no: According to http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=170373 the "bottom 32 players will have to go through qualifiers to play in the next Code A tournament." Additionally, there will be a GSL in January (before the first ladder tournament) and a GSL in April without a ladder tournament between it and the March GSL. So the bottom 32 in the Code A tournament will definitely come from qualifiers, not the ladder.

Does this mean the tour finished and he will be trying to get into GSL's from now on, or is he just on a break from his tour? He's either going or still is in his tour. I think he stated he would be finished sometime around mid year next year. I guess he just helped in his off time or managed to get some time off
