Those trailers are packed. It's like 3d tetris trying to load those things, and I'm in awe of the production team that does it.
We're working on it, but it's going to be a 2011 thing. Hope to see MORE people at Dallas so when I ask for more seating for the area no one can argue with me that you folks show up :D
Thanks for coming everyone. Sadly, I don't think I got a chance to meet very many folks this time around, but I'll see everyone in Dallas! In the future, I'd like to suggest putting the spectators and huge screen with the casters, and having the player's area somewhere else to keep down casterhax, or spectator noise influencing the players.

It's kind of cool. People on the korean site playxp were following and talking about this tournament. They also thought American commercials were interesting, huk was funny, select, idra, and kiwikaki are all gosu. Cool stuff

lol yeah thats not surprising. Because when we see Korean commercials we find them "better" sometimes but they find ours better. Not a surprise . But its kinda cool to know they are paying attention to the foreign scene a little bit ^^

If I was a foreigner watching the commercials, I'd probably be going "wtf" at the old spice commercial with the building kick.

Lots of fun indeed!
Here are my suggestions:

otherwise you need
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias=garden&field-keywords=BackJack &x=25&y=22
-Seating -More than one screen would have been nice -Useless speaker system for the commentary...should have added a speaker to that close pillar during the second day. (Hand out Dr Pepper branded $.97 am/fm radios and broadcast the audio over FM)

Here's why...because none of those other guys are a surprise. Huk won the last one and Idra was the favorite...of course they did incredibly well. Select is great and deserves notice...but he did just take back to back TL Opens...so again, we all know he's incredible and he's been winning tournaments. Slush has been around but I can't recall him placing particularly high in anything. Some might say 7th is nothing special, but this lineup was brutal. He played a lot of incredibly tough opponents and beat most of them (Incontrol, Gretorp, Nadagast), and took a game off Select. I think he's definitely someone to watch...and not only did he not get a game casted, he was barely mentioned. For me, he deserves more recognition.

Does anyone maybe know if there is already a map pack from day 2 available?
ps: Tyler vs seleCT is playing now on the MLG live stream :D

Slush won a lot of stuff in beta like the Altitude TL invitational, he was also the highest placed Zerg at Raleigh. I don't think it's a real surprise that he's beginning to do well again now that Zerg have been buffed. I'd say Agh and PainUser are the biggest surprise for me.

Slush is rated extremely high from the blizzard top 200 lists (ranked at #12), ahead of gretorp, nadagast, and incontrol by a pretty large margin (gretorp the highest rank of that group at #33). I havent had much time to follow the non-korean scene as of late, so I dont know how well he performs in most tournaments, but 7th is easily possible for Slush, basically expected that he would do at least that well.

anyone know why tyler played more than 3 games vs select? it says on the mlg site the results are 4:3 in favor of select. i thought each match was just a bo3?

Probably one BO3 series in the winners bracket then a BO5 in the losers bracket semi-finals/finals (or they had a BO7 in the losers bracket, or they took the history from the winners bracket and carried it over so when the losers bracket part was finished it was actually tied at 3-3 overall, resulting in a 7th game).

They already played against each other in the winner bracket. When they faced each other in the loser bracket they continued there winner bracket game but now it was a BO7. So when the loser bracket game started Tyler was 2-1 ahead, and SeleCT won 4-3. (hope you can understand it )

They have this weird system where if you played them already you take the score from the first game into a Bo7. Which works as an advantage for the winner of the first match, the real retarded thing though is if it happens for the final it's actually a disadvantage because the loser gets to play a Bo7 from behind rather than having to win two Bo3s.
