Pretty much, It's unfortunate that there are so many 18 year olds who have no control over their emotions on this forum :\

Agreed. Show some fucking appreciation that they are even casting this shit for you guys. Technical issues can pop up for anyone when you least want it and expect it to.

If it was free your point is valid. unfortunately people PAID for this and when what they paid for isnt delivered they have every right in the world to complain. they may be going about it in the wrong way, but they still have that right

Oh come on, that's just not true. IEM Global Challenge Cologne was delayed by 4 hours or something.

Didnt watch that one, so I had no problems with that.

hahahahahaha

I love these fucking posts. The sheer amount of crying that comes up anytime there are stream issues for any tournament never ceases to amaze me. Guess what, even the Broodwar scene would suffer from technical difficulties and delays from time to time. Jesus

I don't get the backlash at people complaining. They have every right to complain. The god damn stream is 2 HOURS late. They said that we wouldn't miss ANYTHING and now they are saying we won't even get to see the RO64. So if people want to bitch and complain, get off their backs. If they want to say that MLG is amateurish, obviously they are. If they want to take these events big time, they need to be more professional. That includes being more technically proficient, and communicating more effectively.

It baffles me how inpatient can be. It's Electronic-Sports. Who here haven't had his/her computer to go completely bananas even though everything seemed fine. It's technology based sport, of course things aren't going to go completely smooth.
It saddens me to see how much whining there is on this thread.

Streaming is hard work.
Something must have surprised them.
What would Idra say?
A build is not a guess, an estimation or a hunch, a feeling, or a foolish intuition. A build is a dependable, unwavering, unarguably accurate, portrayer of your ambition.

TL's twitter said we are missing RO64. Yet to see an MLG source saying the same thing.

MLG just became blizzard B. Their "soon" is just as unreliable.

Seriously though, when they charge 10$ for a fucking 2 day stream, I expect it to work. This is so amaturish. They dont test the stream or whatever beforehand? Just set this shit up and lets HOPE IT WORKS ....

Daaaaaammn. $5 / day for hours of entertainment. NOW I see your point.

Yes, I would be pissed off, too. But it's really not a big deal.

ok, we have a winner here.....I think I'll stop complaining that it's 00:15 in EU right now

so far this whole thing is epic fail though, don't they ever test this stuff?

yes.. they've gone through this before.. but since they've never been to DC before it could have something to do with this site, setting up etc.. it's not like gom where they have a studio they broadcast from and they go there every time.. It's not like cologne where IEM:ESL.. they live there.. you saw the massive difference in coverage when they came over seas to cast in NY, the coverage changed by a ton..

It sucks for people that stayed up though, sorry guys

Yup. No bullshit up front information is the one thing that can help when thing go like this.

In case you havent noticed / read, all the pages, not only sc2 pages on the mlg website are having issues. They probably cant post updates because of that else they would have.

Wow I am loving the suit and tie from day9, and what wheat is wearing as well. It looks so much more professional than just the T-shirt + jacket, very good wardrobe change :D

Aw, I actually preferred the T-shirt & Jacket look. It was nice how it said "yeah we're being professional here, but we're still just nerds inside"
