When you play zerg, you leave the statue up so the banelings can suicide into it.

Why just not make plain fields then , because there is something in every map that each race can abuse , well dunno about zerg :D

I don't know, that's why I'm asking.

I thought that they left oGs so they could play sc2 more "freely". I know cool is TSL, but I didn't know about tester.

So he is under contract with TSL now?

If Clide had the focus to get 2 decent shots at the fleeing probes there wouldn't have been half the stalker reinforcements that there were... Nice micro in base, too bad he wasted 300 minerals at a critical time and didn't utilize them to save his ass.

Thors can also waste their cannon on the mengsk statues to free up energy, so Void Ray charging isnt its only use.

The statues are fine. People deal with high ground on lost temple over the natural against terran.
