I really wish tasteless would use the production tab instead of the unit tab, or at least switch around more

Did anyone else get that short video glitch showing a huge face? I'm scared

Clide does not like scouting probes.

If they dont fix the bracket so a cpl non Ts have an easy road to like ro8 its probably gonna be even worse than this season i thought july playing terran now is just a rumor I would be pretty surprised if any of the former BW pros would play Z. They are professionals, they earn their living by playing. Playing Z would be plain unprofessional under the current premises. well tester and cool are old sc pros and not playing T + the vods of july playing zerg (sc2) were not that bad im only talking about pros switching over since release, not the ones who played since beginning of beta pretty much and simply stuck to the race they chose back then.

Man, why did HongUnPrime not thumbs down LT. The cliff-love on this map is ridiculous.
but regardless - Cliiiiiide, why are you so goooood? lol.

Stimmed marines take down a voidray in 3seconds, he has to take a risk when using them otherwise he can't use them at all. I'm not faulting his using them - he didn't use them at the key moments. He lost one in the wrong position (where Ensnare scanned ahead). His second one was used well to try to hit the mules, but he pulls back way too late (mules move faster than Voidrays, ouch). His third was used when pdd is put down to hold off the stalkers. But if he had 3 Voidrays right then, it'd have been so much more powerful. I understand that Ensnare was killing things left and right, but as with Colossi (look at that first game...), Voidrays are NOT supposed to be left to be picked off. You need them en masse. That is so ridiculous, they are _never_ used in mass, no one has done that in GSL, they are cost too much to even be able to do that. AnyPro isn't psychic, he has to take some risks, he can't see the entire map, and soon as the voidray is even a tiny bit off position and marines come it is gone, if you don't try use it as much as you can then you waste resources in which you could have used for other units. You HAVE to use them en masse if you are MAKING more of them. They don't work in singular when you are investing so much into them that your army is not buffed. I'm not saying "hold them back while the Terran is killing you". I'm saying, if you are going to lose them, the loss is so big that it's pretty much losing you the game. You need to maintain their numbers.
No you don't, there have been games where people use Voidrays one,two or even three at a time, there hasn't been a single game where any Protoss has used them in mass (in GSL). Obviously the end goal is to keep them alive but the only way to do that is just keep them back the entire game, you can't just be afraid of facing marines at every turn, they are sometimes a gamble, if you don't play aggressively then you shouldn't have gone them at all.

He's been playing for months now though. You'd hope any non-zerg would have very strong macro by now, and tbh zergs are getting it together now as well.

never heard of ensnare in the wc3 scene, looks like he was lower tier , but does exceptionally well in sc2
good sign that everyone has the chance in this new game, and not the already known guys instantly taking over : )

Yes, and those games would lose when your army gets hit by the mass marine and pdd clashes that we saw in the last game. Either hit and run to protect those voidrays, or stop building them and build up the ground army to defend against the marines and pdd. Like, how he pulled out that first voidray and saved it in the red. That's good! The other two? Not so much.

Nice play by clide - decides to try to snipe the robobay, but pulls out when hongunprime's army arrives. He's well aware that there are gonna be colossi coming out.
|
clide playing pretty safe, hangin back like that was a good idea

Forcefiels are so awesome, love to watch pro gamers use them to the max

I wonder why all these series are so one sided, series like Cool and TOP and g2 of SanZenith v Inca have kept me interested, but there's a lot of total stomps between players who haven't seemed THAT different in skill level previously. Is it just the newness of the game causing people to make fundamentally bad decisions in situations, games do seem exceptionally 'fragile' to me? Tester obviously dominated, but ITR and Ensnare both seemed to totally outclass their opponents where I was expecting some good series based on previous performances.

really slow reactions by toss, shoulda pulled more units back
|
WOW! Great drop by Clide! Wipes out a good force inside hongun's base, and got away without losing anything!
|
Clide just dishing out the ownage.
|
Clide is dropping like mad. Killed the robobay, and then is safe enough to expand. Has a crap ton of vikings, a great mix of units. Wow.
|
I love how Tasteless just goes super saiyan when something intense happens.

Nice Simcity by HongUnPrime!
