How could they think like that ? In warcraft 3, hero experience and items as well as upgrades are so important. A unit composition that is weaker can (sometimes) beat a stronger one with the help of heroes with items, micro-management etc.

What are you talking about? The name of the interviewer is Dennis "TaKe" Gehlen, who is one of the two main commentators of ESL.tv.

Why thank you, kind sir. lol it really shouldn't take a post to say "look at OP" especially when the OP has a huge section titled "RESULTS"! I meant for swift updates. Often times in larger tournaments it seems it can take time for updates to the OP for results. In singular matches they always get updated by the OP, but bigger tournaments go a lot slower at times. I'm trying to be nice. This is a rare thing. Just smile. Ah I wasn't getting at you, ofc it's a nice thing to point people to the OP. My point was...people should read OPs. this rotating globe on glhf.tv needs to get a grip, it's preventing my computer from running the stream smoothly! So I can see all the places GLHF's visitors hail from? Commmeee on http://tv.esl.eu/de/esltv_flash go here and generate a player for tetv.esltv.external in 640x480, then run the demo that appears. hopefully that helps thanks a lot for the tip, I decided to just open Safari to run the stream (where I have ClickToFlash installed)

It is Maynard's other band "A Perfect Circle" and the song is called "The Outsider"

Come on Dimaga, pull throoough.
I also like you!<3

no comments on lucifron losing to sarens? I know it's not as surprising as hasuobs winnings vs dimaga, but still...?

Lost temple is game one between Lucifron and Dimaga. Spawned at 9 and 6. Looks like Lucifron is going for fast reaper and a quick second gas.

You go +1 forge and THEN don't take any more upgrades? 2 templar can feedback 4-8 corruptors, (he only got 4 before dimaga copped on) yet he got 6 and didn't storm just went and morphed then into archons. Coulda had more colossus. DT distraction I do myself in PvZ, oldest trick in the book. Massing minerals doing a 4 warpgate dimaga should have died there.
Sure, dimaga probably should have gotten hive and maybe faster 4th because roaches and hydars are both really bad at 200/200 vs any kind of aoe attack as you see, but I see nothing that hasuobs did that your average 800-900 point diamond player couldn't have done, in fact most probably could have won with the +1 4 warpgate against a hydra build like that. And then finishing with pure stalker colossus using the stalkers to kill corruptors and just have like 3-4 more colossus instead of massing gas on templar and no upgrades at all.
Was impressed killing the first nydus, but hasuobs said it was a fluke, the rest was just watching the minimap and pulling probes into an easy win.
Put the average 800-900 point diamond player on that stage vs dimaga and i can assure you that he would had done A LOT more mistakes than he usually do... and almost certainly wouldn´t have won vs dimaga.
Hasu played really smart and even thou he did mistakes i was very impressed, and yes i would be that average diamond player you talk about.

How are maps decided for these games? Loser picks from the pool, or?

my guess is that they remove two maps each (for a bo3) or a map each (for a bo5), and then play on the maps remaining

Is it just me or did Sarens only appear in this one Cup where he qualified so far in SC2?
