people noticed that i had 2, and only 2, penalty points after i wouldnt let the caster in. and nothing has happened since then. so you just added 2 more points with absolutely no justification in order to cover your asses.
I'd like to know what ESL Europe's position is on this.
The only logical move for ESL is to admit they made a mistake regarding what happened with StrifeCro and the non-communication with involved players, and let the games that need to be played, played, and just move on. If they don't, regardless of what they do in the future, this will be remembered and only sour their reputation.
This sort of drama isn't good for anyone, especially the SC2 community. Hopefully ESL & IdrA can sort it out, because let's be honest, who doesn't wanna see IdrA play?
Yes, the ESL rules clearly establish what happens because of insults, but do those rules cover if an ESL official incites the player (by calling him a "joke" amongst other things)?
The first thing the ESL needs to do is understand their disorganization and the obvious mistakes they have made running the tournament. Without doing that there is no hope of them understanding IdrA's (rightfully) angry response and it makes them look ridiculous as a "serious" e-sports organization.
Having multiple people from the ESL responding with contrasting statements regarding the ban (season or week) and adding penalty points after the fact certainly isn't helping.

Everyone loves drama. I've been sitting here spamming f5 for the last 20 mins :p
Regardless of who's right, I think the fact that ESL admins posted on the forums without congregating and making an official statement is a sign of incompetency. It doesn't matter if the IdrA ban is justified, this is simply not how things are done.

how does anybody like him, like, at all? If the admins have any balls they'll DQ him, and when they do I can't wait to see his whining here about how badly the tournament is run
wow. this guy rivals paul the octopus in fortune telling.
