Because then ITR will be 3-0 and WhiteRa, Dimaga, and qxc will all be 1-2. Will the player with the most games (not matches) won advance? Or will there be a tiebreaker played once sc2 goes live? I think something was mentioned in the videos about tiebreaker matches between all 3. Not sure though! Would be pretty nice to have 3 more matches I guess we will see tonight.
I would think then it would go to your overall win/loss record and then if there is a tie you have a play off... I swear this was discussed like 10 pages ago.

How is it possible that some people complain about Razer? Sponsors are what make this tournament possible, you should be grateful and hope that they see value in such sponsorships and keep them coming.

I actually bought a razer mouse because of this tournament. I only wish there was a way to name it as the reason for the purchase...

I was going to buy a razer mouse before this tournament, and just did so today. I too wish I could name this tournament as the reason though. Really it partially it, it got me excited to buy one now instead of wait longer.

Can anyone make a picture of the results of the tournament? I really can't picture it in my head.
I mean a format like this:
p1 p2 p2 p2 p4 p3 p4
lol, if anyone understand
edit: bah, don't know how to format the text in the post

The ungrateful raging in this thread is pathetic. Free tourney, sweet prize pool, amazing players, cleverly scheduled to keep us entertained between the end of beta and launch, Day[9] commentating, and the list goes on. What's there to complain about?

I'm sure someone will, when the tournament is over. It's not hard
If I got correctly what you actually want. Players ranked from 1st to the last?
Edit: After reading your post again in the edit box I don't think that is what you meant, so sorry :D

People who claim that he only won because T is so OP have no idea what they are talking about. TLO had way better multitasking and on top of that he sniped a ton of templars through the entire later phase of the game. People complain about a tank line being unbreakable (as TLO tech to BC) like they haven't seen SC1 PvT. I'm not sure bout you, but most people will come to the consensus that tank lines were MUCH much easier to break in SC:BW PvT.
You had arbiters and non-shitty carriers. Dragoons do 20 damage to mech instead of the wimpy 14. Storm did 112 damage rather than 80. I could go on, but I'm sure you see my point.

What's this grudge about? Can someone enlighten me??
Also I think DAy9 should visualize the brackets / results. It's kinda hard to picture everyone's place in a group when all we're given is a list of which players are in what group.

Not to mention zealots take 3 mines to kill and absorb a ridiculous amount of tank damage (cause of the damage type). On top of that theres dropping zealots on tanks with a shuttle cause terran had like no anti air in TvP until lategame with goliaths. AND tanks overkilled, which a) makes them less effective than in Sc2 and b) makes zealot bombs twice as deadly.
ON TOP OF THAT is recall....fucking recall....that makes you have to go all the way back to your base and then back where u were to reposition and make more turrets and re-lay your mines and shit.
Tank lines where definately a hell of a lot easier to bust in BW

It's not really a grudge but he probably means that IdrA knocked out TLO from The Altitude TL Invitational

I hate to see people diminish the victories of any player, inadvertently or otherwise. I have to imagine that every player is trying to maximize their advantages and diminish their disadvantages as much as possible. TLO is taking advantage of his practice with all 3 races to play the one supposedly favored right now by the game. Since not focusing on a particular race must come with significant disadvantages, it hardly seems he's going "easy mode" or what-have-you (as some have seemed to say). He simply demonstrated a benefit to versatility.
Good on him, I say. A person could easily contend that focusing on a particular race is "easy mode", as most do seem to believe that the advantages of such outweighs whatever disadvantages. Who cares, either way? The idea of the game is not to impress magical Starcraft judges in the sky by making things as hard on yourself as possible.
That said, Tester may have "cheesed" Game 3, but who cares? He took advantage of his opponents predictability and won fair-and-square. Exploiting your opponents weaknesses can't possibly be a bad thing to do, as that's pretty much how you win. I just don't get criticizing these players for trying to win, when to me all the victories so far have seem hard fought and well deserved.
Great tournament so far, in any case. Watching's been a blast.

so if qxc loses, will there be a big tie break between everyone that is 1-2?
