I bet you the 3k invested by razer into this have already been turned into profit. Thats only 60 people buying a mid-range mouse. No, think cost of mouse, overhead, delivery costs. I bet they would need to sell at least several hundred to make a profit, which is definitely not a given since less than 10 thousand people watch each stream.

Don't tell me what I should find boring or not boring, and don't assume I'm biased based on what I enjoy watching. Watching and playing Starcraft aren't exactly the same thing, and while an early cheese/rush may be a genius play in game, it isnt exactly the most fun thing to view. what is boring and what is not? lmao, are you kidding me? you hear all this fanboys discrediting testers win and make it sound like tlo is the superior player when clearly he is not... im not saying all but most of you guys are just bias and are tlo fanboys... if he was the one cheesing, you would call it genius i bet tester imo did not cheese at all, he just reacted perfectly to tlo's builds and map positioning etc the excution and decision making of tester won him the game, not what you guys call 'cheese'

If you accidently tried to forward the game you see black screen. You have to watch the whole thing from start. You cant forward the stream, then u get the black screen with only audio.

You know when i was a child companies tried to get customers by coming up with exciting commercials, making their campaigns accessible and exciting. But these days companies realized that the best well to sell you crap is to give you a mental disorder by jamming same commercial 10 times in a row. JUST NO. The fact that they're profiting off of a marketing campaign is no reason for me to think theyre untouchable by criticism. 1) This tournament is totally free to watch 2) Day9 and others have spent numerous hours into this tournament and to hear people bitch on the forums of him plugging the sponsor is absolutely ridiculous, the sponsorship is the main reason why the tournament is happening and with this quality of players 3) If you hate the plugs so much dont watch the games live and then just skip his opening and closing comments.

Aha. I dare them to not sponsor any more starcraft II events. They're making money off you and your peers, if anything they owe you gratitude for being a customer, not the other way around. Of course they're making money... if they weren't why would they sponsor anything? Companies making money = a good thing if you havent found this out yet maybe crawl out of the rock you live in and do some research

And yes, I do find some things to be more interesting than others, can I not say that I didn't really like the 1st and 3rd (mostly the 3rd) games? Its my opinion, and I think only I can decide what is interesting or dull for myself. Its not like I'm forcing my views on anybody, I'm just pissed I can't even express them without getting into an argument. Tester definitely has the advantage for this tournament and may just take it away, but I just don't really see him being light-years away from players like TLO.

Tester definitely has the advantage for this tournament and may just take it away, but I just don't really see him being light-years away from players like TLO. I personally thought games 1 and 3 were much more exciting than game 2. I understand that many observers look at game 2 and think "wow, crazy insane macro game with tons of brilliant harass, cool units, and absolutely dominating play by TLO." But it all boiled down to TLO securing an advantage and compounding it by playing safely and taking very few tactical risks. Then he capitalizes on his advantage by going battlecruisers and nukes and everyone shits bricks. In the end, game 2 is a game catered to casual spectators, just like TLO's game 2 versus HuK on Steppes of War where he does some cutesy harass, gains a near-insurmountable advantage, and drags it out with cool units. It really reminds me of FirebatHero, tbh... Compare this to games 1 and 3, or IntoTheRainbow's games against WhiteRa, or Tester vs IdrA game 1. You can clearly see the streamlined builds, the brilliant risky decision making, and the flawless execution. It's games like these that truly show that the Koreans are still one step ahead of the foreigners, and it's games like these that give me hope that the game still has a lot of potential to grow. In the end, it's all a matter of preference. You like to see wacky units and crazy dropship harass while sitting comfortably on 5 bases behind 4 PFs and 20 tanks. I like to see razor-edge timings and precision micro battles.

I really doubt tester didnt give anything but his all in the series

THERE is a DIFFERENCE (you still following me bud?) between mentioning/thanking sponsors for sponsoring and saying stuff like "GOGOG BUY RAZER MOUSE NOW, PREORDER!!!" and "razer is best, unmatched" and "were going into game 2 now and oh hai btw buy razer"

I thought TLO vs tester's game 2 was just AMAZING. The best game I've seen from sc2 yet. And it wasn't some practice game, it was for a tournament with lots of money on the line too. Great job to both players :D And of course day9 made it that much more exciting.
